My boyfriend is a cook and he's good at what he does.
OOC and OC mean. Not sure about OC, usually I used IC.

Not sure how much truth there is to this - but I think the reason this is "true" is because gay men are more likely to learn how do to something besides BBQ...
This is held true by many people - my g/f was VERY surprised (pleasantly though) that I know how to both cook AND bake amazingly well!
REAL men know how to take care of their partners - be they women OR men :)
(Oh yeah - forgot to mention that I happen to be straight)

No, some people are just naturally good cooks. It's just a coincidence that a lot of gay people are good cooks. A lot of people I know are good cooks and they are straight.

I'm a lesbian with one gay brother and one straight brother, and we are all wonderful cooks...but so was our mom. We got our passion and love for cooking from her. My dad, on the other hand can barely boil water....but that's because mom always cooked!

I am gay and a good cook. By boyfriend is not a good cook at all.
That's the problem with stereotypes. They are never one-size-fits-all.

Many of the gay men I've known were AWESOME AWESOME cooks - now I'm hungry.
Most lesbians I know can't cook for chit though.
