I really don't get why people assume one's color will reveal some universal truth or something. I'm probably missing the point, but I think the race questions are misdirected, shouldn't they be culture questions?

Who here think that gangster rap music is one of the worst things in the black community. It's just so ignorant and ridiculous. The fact that the people who "sing" the songs get rich amazes me. If you don't think it's a bad thing, then please explain why.

Just wondering, because I have to know. I don't get angry about race questions, and I actually feel very comfortable talking about it. Why does race make so many people angry? Race is a part of history and a huge part of our society today. Why cant we just talk about it like any other subject without being accused of being racist? Just because you bring up the subject doesn't mean you are one. I just don't understand a lot of things, and I like to get different points of views. Please do not post insults.

So what...what difference would that make...People should be free to live their own lives in their own way. As long as nobody is getting hurt what difference does it make to objectors?? You couldn't pay me to care about who you are all having sex with...why are you so concerned about who I sleep with? I only care about my sex life --not yours....so why the judgemental views from you??...Please don't throw any of that religious sh*t my way...because I don't buy into it.You also couldn't pay me to be involved in organized religion.
I don't see the problem here....are you're own (sex) lives that dull that you have to worry about other peoples?

Someone posted a while back, that he is a black man who dates white women, but he doesn't hate his race, he just finds white women more attractive. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that a contradiction? Preference always has a historical reference(Prejudice against own race/gender). Help me out here.

I am seeing so many people say this, and I just don't think it's true. I think everyone is equally racist against other races and even their own. I think everyone thinks this because black people I know are more open with their racism and even will flat out say, "I hate white people" White people are just as racist! They just hide it, and are sneaky about there views on race and racism. No, I am not trying to be a racist against whites, I just see it all the time. Yahoo answers is acutally proof. So what makes people think black people are more racist?
