I must admit i have fun with them, that's why i can't refrain myself from liking them. So now i have to put a boundary for my own sake. Just friends.

Just friends...why's that a boundary, seems eminently fine if you're not gay or lesbian (wasn't sure if you meant gay men only or gays as in homosexuals)

There actually are reasons for this.... I can only assume you are a female who enjoys the company of gay men.
The reason this is so enjoyable for you is that all the stress and pressure of the male/female sexual tension is absent.
No one is going to approach you in a sexual way and no one is going to misinterpret your signals for sexual innuendo.
Without these stresses present you can relax and enjoy the moment.

Generalizing, even if it's about something good, is a pretty stupid thing to do.
Why don't you just say, all my friends are really nice? Because I'm pretty sure there are gay assholes too. :/
