according to hindu philosophy v have both male & female energy in us , same as ying & yang , male energy represents more achieving tendencies & female energy represents caring & recognition type, male has normally dominant male energy , so to balance it he can do it through yoga, meditation, tai chi, zen gardening etc
females have dominantly more female energy which is more for security,so they have to learn to balance it by yoga, meditation, martial atrs(aiki jujutsu)etc
or both of them can do kundalini pranayama(ancient indian breathing excercise)

I've heard that you only have to be maybe like 1/16 or something but that you have to have an ancestor on the Baker's Roll already. Could a person prove they're part Cherokee and become part of the tribe without having an ancestor on the Roll? I don't know all the details about all my ancestors, so it would be difficult for me.

i was just reading some questions and i came across this a few times. someone was married and then decided he was gay. someone was gay and then, since he wanted a family, he became straight.
it is perfectly possible for someone to be so brainwashed by the world at large that they don't allow themselves to realize they're gay until after the wedding, when they find what they'd been missing for years. it is also perfectly possible for a man who is gay to decide he wants to have kids and chose to go into a traditional heterosexual relationship to get them. it doesn't make him any less gay. i thought this was obvious. why can't people grasp it?

I'm writing a paper for my human sexuality class and was curious to find out what people's thoughts were. I personally am ok with all of the above, but to a certain extent. What's your thoughts?

THANKS!

We try hard to treat or women right, with love and respect. But I always hear femmes talking about they only date femmes and dont like butches. Btw Bi-sexual girls dont count, i'm talking about real lesbians.

I come from a reservation I am a mutt but I just want to know what people think as in stereotypes of Native Americans because so much attention is paid to larger minorities, and I am just curious to see what people who have never been on a reservation or in the Native American culture think or percieve the American Indian.

I am homosexual and i've been reading the gay threads where people state their crackpot theories on why homosexuality is a choice. I made this question to give my rebuttal.

I haven't come out of the closet yet. Why? Becauses my family are a bunch of homophobes and so are my freinds. So why would I choose to be gay? Is there any benefit from being gay in my world? NO! I wish I were straight but I can't stop my feelings which i've had since I was little.

and I've always had very dark hair on my belly and chest/breast, is this normal if I was a normal girl? I always wonder why that happens, even without any meds. like I'm I already producing more testoserone than other females? My voice is a little bit deep... I've noticed it mostly for the past 2 yrs... I think I have a higher than normal(girl) sex drive, I often times exp. mood swings, and I don't know what is happening to me? I haven't started any meds, except for my ones for anxioty and depression... Is this unusul? Should I be happy, as I feel confused...

It just seems like some people, like in particular on here tonight, are so wrapped up in what happened hundreds of years ago that they can't understand that they are their ideals worst enemy. They make a big deal out of race, which in turn makes people have a negative light on that race because they over analyze and complain and whine when they have more organizations, scholorships, schools and clubs that are for blacks only then any other race. What about the movies and music that is made by people in their own race that glorify greed, crime, and sex? Yet, they point the finger at the neighbors instead of fixing their own household. Are people who are into Black Power not any better then the KKK or Aryan Nations guy who is into White Power? I think they are both crazy and need some serious attitude adjustments.

I assume that the African American women who are on yahoo answers are of some intelligence and could give me insight into the world of black women. I am an African American female, I grew up in a very diverse neighborhood. I did not socialize a whole lot with blacks because there wasnt many. I do not have a black culture and do not understand alot about black women. I consider myself to be an American and human.. I trully only see color lines with African Americans. I recieve so much attitude and blatant hatred towards me based on the way that I carry myself. I do not understand the basis of this behavior. I know some is due to ignorance but to most I believe it to be based on intimidation. What do you think? Its a question that puzzles me .. even into my adulthood?
