Is it possible to be racist of your own race?

You mean being ashamed of people of your own race? Well, I'm white, and there are times when I am deeply ashamed of white supremacists. But I do not take the position that white people are generally inferior, which is what I would call racism. To me, the term "racist" means being either especially for or especially against any race. Or, to be blunt, considering race (that is, either as skin color or more generally as genetic heritage) to be of importance at all. I see individuals, not categories, to the extent possible.

Yes it is I have had people of my own race say and do things that would definitely be perceived as racist. Almost every time it has been a person of my race who has been immersed in another races culture for a prolonged period of time.

yes if something bad happend to them as a small child like abuse from their own race they will become racist of their own culture and if they keep it bottled up inside they will be forever truly mad at their race

yes, have met some Chinese, Blacks and Whites who seemed to be ashamed of their heritage and physical features. Very sad and disrespectful. If you can't respect your own culture, family and acknowledge history good/bad, how can you respect others who are from different backgrounds.

if you hate your own race then you hate your self, because the only way you can hate your race and not hate your self is if you see your self as something else and that's not poss able because you r what you r no matter what
