They dont where ever did you get that notion ?
Both dominicans and puerto ricans are warm frendly and funloving people and they get along great with each other.And if there are some that do,Then you can answer that question with a question,Why does any one hate another because or race religion or national origin? The answer always comes the same IGNORANCE

They don't hate each other. They just do not like it when people say that they are the same thing. Both cultures are Latinos and do have a lot of similarities but they still want to be considered as different cultures. Dominicans and Puerto Ricans are actually more united than ever because of the changes that are taking place musically and politically.

they do?? My guess would be that Dominicans see how puerto ricans have advantages by being e US territory, while they're struggling with poverty
