some say that family is the basic unit of culture.so,what are the other units of culture?including family.and what are their influeces?

The basic unit of any society is a husband and wife.

They contribute children, which continues our culture into the next generation. Any society that isn't predicated on the principle of 'women and children first' is doomed to extinction.
