With "God" being taken out of everything else, how long do you think it will be until they take off "In God We Trust" from our money.

Just as blacks have the priveledge to use the "n" word. Like I use it once in a while to describe the town and economy I live in, especially when I'm frustrated (white trash) or to describe Britney Spears.

I'm about as theologically conservative as they come. I accept the label of fundie proudly. But I couldn't give a flip if people say happy holidays or merry Christmas --- mainly because I realize that there *are* other holidays celebrated at this time and secondly because that seems like a really stupid thing to waste venting your spleen on.

Are there Christians running around everywhere professing loudly how upset they are with "Happy Holidays"? None I know personally (and again, birds of a feather, I know a *lot* of fundies) have ever been upset by this.

Christians: does this upset you? If so, explain to me logically why?

Non-Christians: Is this really some epidemic in your opinion? If not, why do you post eleventeen questions a day about how mad you are at Christians because *they* are mad?

i guess i have been living under a rock lately because i heard that there was controversy but i didnt really care. i recently learned what the big deal is all about and as a christiani i am appalled. waht was the big deal? no one protested Amazing Grace or Passion of the Christ as much as this movie and they kinda sucked. I mean im sorry but i just dont get into those movies. Fellow christians need to know that they cant just argue over every movie that goes against their beliefs. First the da vinci code and now this? please. as a christian i am telling all other christians to grow up and let people make movies and do their job.

When I was growing up we played baseball, basketballl and football and stayed in shape. I now appears we have a huge population and I mean huge that is way oecr weight.

Is this partially the reason for this I mean everyone spending all their time on line?

sounds like it is christianity that is not allowed not religion...i have also HEARD...that they are allowing the muslim children class time to go pray to thier alah. yet we cannot have gods name in the pledge of allegence anymore. uh, our money does say "in god we trust"...i think somebody got confused...

I think Alice is getting me a dvd of either Aristocats, Elf or High School Musical :( Most likely Aristocats, then Elf, then HSM =[ It might not even be a dvd but I think it is because Alice and Bryony are colloborating and a dvd is quite expensive for a usual birthday present on your own. 2A. have no chance of being elected to a high political office unless they lie about their lack of belief;

2B. if your answer to "2A" is "Yes," do you think its fair to vote against an atheist or agnostic because of his/her lack of belief, and why;

3. are, in general, just as ethical and moral as believers.

Merry Christmas? I am a card carrying member of the ACLU and a pagan I could give a flying flip if someone says Merry Christmas. I live in the Bible Belt and have returned Merry Christmas with Happy Yule and not a single one has "corrected me" or been ugly. I am not Christians biggest fan, but this is getting silly. Say whatever you want. Spread the cheer and goodwill and quit bickering over the stupid details. Why on earth is everyone freaking out about it?
