why do some have an earthly hope and others a heavenly hope?

do they get the hope from the Watchtower or does everyone just have the earthly hope to start with?

what if i was to have a heavenly hope, how would I know and how would everyone know I had this hope. I could go around telling people and others might say, sorry but you've got earthly hope.

i'm confused about all this. can someone explain it to me?

Please name the book on earth that explains the events that can not be known 1400 years ago and all its information true; from the depths of the space to under the seas, from the development in our mother’s womb to the end of the universe, book that places God into the center of life and gives the value He deserves, has also a mathematical code system and keeps together the wholeness in its meaning and code, serious book which gives meaning to life, and says there is an after life and gives the mankind the hope he needs. Book which confirms all the prophets throughout history, Noah, Moses and Jesus…, the prophets who brought common messages? A Book which approves all the prophets and their books, since it is the last book.

I once dated this guy who I always had to initiate the sexual part of our relationship. HE would tell Me he was too tired, or too busy. I tried prancing around the house naked, tried sexy lingerie, cooking naked, cleaning naked, washing the car with a bikini on. And after all that, he rarely was aroused. He is only 35, definitely not too old to feel the passion. And it wasn't impotence, because we did have sex, just very rarely. My friends think he might be homosexual, but is still in conflict with himself over it. Could that be?

I have a sleep disorder, and I can't really explain why I am here, now, in front of a computer monitor, looking at questions on R/S. I guess it is a compulsion, or some type of catharsis. But it really seems to tick off my wife. Who by the way has a question for R/S people I will ask that one next. So, why are you here? Now? On Friday night?

Its easy to dismiss there being a Creator, but the universe dose not come across as random chance either.
One of the problem with Science, Religion and Atheism is they have all become opinionated and set in their own ways. Now I'm not sugesting that everyone is doing this but, it is what i see.
There is a hell of a lot in this universe science and religion dose not understand.
So why on earth do we deside that our minds are made up on this topic, regardles of the that fact we do not know enough to say one thing or the other?
Shouldnt we just keep an "open mind", and remember that what we do know?

Well just some thoughts anyway.

I'm a 25 year old guy and have a costume party to go to in a week.Dunno what I should be.I'm into the 70's and stuff,so I wonder if my dark creme colored pants with brown and blue striped shirt with high heel boots would work as a 70's style guy. That's the only thing I can think of.Any ideas would be great.

For those of you who don't know, Albus Dumbledore was Harry Potter's school master, until he was killed off in the 6th book.

Now, I know Potter has been getting a lot of negative attention from Christian groups for promoting witchcraft and more truthfully for promoting tolerance. Now that JK Rowling said it herself, a great character is gay, will you be burning your children's Harry Potter books?

Have you ever noticed that if the 'spirits' the team are communicating with make 'violent' physical contact, it is usually Stuart that gets the brunt, then Karl, never the rest of the group? Are they the spook magnets? If I were always attacked when I went to work, I think I would change jobs, doncha think?

Both TAPS and Most Haunted visited Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia. Whereas Most Haunted goes in to 'communicate', TAPS goes in to disallow, and only when all reasonable excuses have been exhausted do they acknowledge paranormal activity. TAPS proved there is 'something' haunting Eastern State, and Most Haunted actually seemed to get run out by the supernatural. Could this be because Most Haunted seems to be more 'for show' and 'I feel your pain' sort of deal and TAPS is more analytical? Your thoughts on the authenticity of either one or the other or both.

Question: Why are people trying to ban the Koran over Antisemitism, when there is Much more Antisemitism inside the Bible

Question Details: All this talk about the Koran being anti-semitic when they are only a few verse (and one short chapter about the "Children of Israel" )that even talk about Jews, where as the Bible goes on and on condemning Jews for what would be considered hateful Antisemitism today? Why are people trying to get the Koran banned for such reason when the bible itself contains much more controversial rhetoric in relation to Antisemitism? Please just logical responses with sources. If I'm out of line let me know how and where. I have read both books and I'm really troubled with the bias going on.

I am not sure how to word this but I will do the best I can in talking to the Lord tonight I posed this question about Psalm 37:4 which says Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.

Yet in other passages of the Bible it say God will provide all your needs.

In reading the above Psalm does the desires of you heart mean your wants or your needs? If God says that he will give you the desires of your heart than why have some things I wanted have not come to pass and why was I denied certain things by God?

I am not trying to play the martyr I am just trying to make sense of some of the hurts and trials that have happened and not knowing why they did?

I am serving God and trying to do the right thing and grow closer to Him and I love being a christian. What does it truly mean to delight in the Lord?
