I have a sleep disorder, and I can't really explain why I am here, now, in front of a computer monitor, looking at questions on R/S. I guess it is a compulsion, or some type of catharsis. But it really seems to tick off my wife. Who by the way has a question for R/S people I will ask that one next. So, why are you here? Now? On Friday night?

It's almost 3 here, I work evenings and get home around 12:30, I'll be up another couple hours, apparently god thinks I will sleep enough when I am dead. Everyone else in the house is asleep which is very unusual in this house, ah peace and quiet.
I need a little while longer for the self medication to set in.

I have insomnia. I've never really slept well. I am up every few hours. I can't seem to sleep tonight. I think I am over-tired.
I had to stay at school for 12 hours Thursday because we had PTO (and only 2 parents from my class came), so that was a 14 hour day.
Back to bed for another try in a few minutes

I thought Friday night was to be spent doing what one enjoys. What would the world be like if everyone wanted to do the same thing at the same time all of the time? Happiness and enjoyment are very personal, and there is no one way to be in this world.

got off of work a few hours ago, but part of the week I would only be getting off of work right now. So I have a hard time falling asleep until 3 a.m. Pacific.
EDIT: some nights I am an insomniac, this one seems to be one of them.
*sigh*

I have insomnia, and this is the place I want to be right now. I sometimes go on pogo, but right now I wanted to be on here, I like to answer the questions, and I also can learn something by the honest respectful answers of some of the other people on here. That is why I am here.

It is actually Saturday early morning. Try drinking a hot herbal tea called Chamomile, it usually helps you to relax and hopefully you can get some sleep. Plus, your wife will get sleep as well.

I was not there on Friday night. I was in fact, crying, over the fact that my internet would not work. It was a sad, sad night for me. I mourned the loss of good friday night R&S questions. But alas, I now have my dear internet back. :-)

Looking for answers to things that haunt me.
Not getting them.
Getting violations for asking.
Feeling progressively more lost and disillusioned.
Edit: Have you ever seen "City Slickers"? Remember how Curly says there is 'one thing' and that thing is the meaning to life? In the end it turns out that this 'one thing' is something different to everyone, and finding it is part of your growth as a person. I guess most of us are looking for our 'one thing'.
