A close friend had a baby and I attended the christening because she wanted me there. She is now having another child. As an atheist I find the idea of christening a child into a faith it doesn't understand abhorrent. Do I attend the next christening, or do I upset her by staying away this time?

there is sometimes a burning smell in the living room only, and its not really buring, but thats the best i can describ it. and the lights only in my bedroom, the bathroom, and the living room dims, then goes back to normal. and my dog is spooked by the pantry. whats your opinion? if not a ghost what could cause this?

There's an individual that works on the same floor as I do, but I honestly can NOT figure out said person's gender. Now, don't get me wrong, people that know me also know that I do not give a damn whether I offend someone or not. But, I'd just like to... to, uh, approach this particular situation with more.... I don't know.... *tact*, I guess.


I know what I'D do, but figured I would listen (look at) [to] a few different types of solutions before proceeding, ya know.

In the Book of Levitcus 18 v22 it says you should not have sexual relations with the same sex, how do gay speakers (ministers for example) explain this?

I had a really bad dream last night, it was very detailed. The details were morbid and just plain scary. I have doubts that my mind could produce such thoughts. I won't go into the dream, it was horrifying.

My husband is a Christian, I told him about the dream, he thinks that it may be a dream produced by the devil.
I've been struggling with whether or not God is real lately, I have almost came to the conclusion that he's not. The last thing I remember from last night before I went to bed was me asking Jesus to show me a sign if he is real. I'm so goofy, I know it's childish but I had to give it a shot.

What do you think? Do you think my husband was right?

I'm telling you how I feel so please no rude remarks.

i am not sure if god is alive or not, i bleve science more.
but look it doen not make any sence you can't say that no body made us and if god is true and he made us who made him!

I used to think that God can't hear you inless you talk out loud but I've prayed for lots of things silently and my prayers were answered. However, a minister once said that you can't pray silently, and God won't accept your prayers if you do! Sounds pretty ridiculous to me since Hannah prayed for a son silienlty and got one! I find it ironic that the Catholics are now blocking me.

Isn't that the way the teach? Block out anything that doesn't agree with their False religion?

I would like it if that costume idea was not too sexy but also if it was not to stupid. (please don't mention any "puns" like the Smartie Pants outfit-pants with Smartie wrappers pasted on them!) Anyways, please make sure the outfit is creative, maybe a movie character, video game character and everything like that alright? Maybe even a costume I can make/buy at a department store like not a packaged costume. Thanks very very much! :D
