Yes.

I work with a lot of technical people, and they're aware of the fact that their grammar (and spelling! OMG!) skills are lacking. Just let him know what changes you are planning to make, so that you don't inadvertantly change the meaning of the sentence. It still has to be factual at the end!

YES. Your boss should also appreciate it very much as well. That is a really big help.

Yes, of course.

He must realize you know the language better than he does.

Part of your job is to help him look good.

If he sent it to you for correction, then yes.
Otherwise...I'm not sure that he'd be your manager very long if you did that LOL

depends...did he ask you to? is it part of your job expectations? would he be offended? i'd say it's ok, but would make sure it's ok with him first. i mean, i'm sure he'd appreciate it but of course you don't want to do that. you could say 'would you mind if i just make a few suggestions?' then go over them with him.

I'd find a diplomatic way of suggesting that you (or someone else) proof read his stuff before it's presented.

Correct him, but do it in private, and be as polite as possible.

"I'm not sure if you know this but" and then point out his errors.
