Many children in the world do not get the love and attention from their parents. Did you hug your child today or at least tell them you loved them?

If you didn't or never have, is there a reason why?
Is it because you never were yourself?

Never mind the basic necessities or the latest materials you endow your child with, or car, or parties. That is trivial and of no vaule unless accompanined by a hug and love.

HUG your child today because I guarantee they will LOOK for love in all the wrong places, and you my dear parent are the sole responsibility.

Has anyone ever said that to you or a friend? I hear this often, but I never know how to respond. I know it maybe a racist comment, but I also wonder if the person(people) who said this to me were trying to show they weren't racist. What do you think?

it's believed that marijuana was used in annointment oils mentioned in the bible. kaneh-bosm, as it was referred to was wrongly translated as calamus, when it was actually Cannabis. assuming this is true, is it possible the bush mentioned in the story of the burning bush is actually marijuana? it would certainly account for someone hallucinating and seeing "god".

Free Will again- I think most on this site like myself are sharing thier faith and our beliefs on that faith, wether it's Christianity, Judiasm, Islam, Hindu and pagan beliefs.

I think most Christians are confident 100% with faith in Jesus Christ , that GOD exsits and the joy we have in the Holy Spirit.

We are just offering the good news to you, but of course you can reject, but we owe you no proof-understand?

Some might come to this site (Non-Regulars) read posts of all kinds and might come to the lord, be a scoffer or go home and drink Kool-Aid, the point being is we all have free will and of course Americans we have the right to free speech, one poster an atheist (Could be wrong) stated Atheists are more for socialism or communism and so
we need to nix that out of American Society.

Why don't wealthy suburban churches build in the inner city? The truly hurting and needy people are primarily found in the inner cities?
How much time does your church spend helping those less fortunate? Do you ever leave your compound in the suburbs to help the needy?

Matthew 25: 37-40

37"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'

40"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'


I ask this because I see inner-city churches closing their doors for lack of funds. I see homeless people wandering the streets of the inner city. But, I see Prestonwood Baptist in Plano, TX, ( a Dallas suburb)spend $200,000.00 per month on utilities....

Say you went to prison and were forced to "convert" by fellow inmates (or pretend to). Considering many of your past experiences with Christianity, how well do you think you could fake it? Do you think you could actually be a priest to the prisoners?

Now my question is should we Africans stop calling ourselves black because other peoples from the Carribean and the United States call themselves black sometimes? And what do I answer people who categorise me as black in the country where I live? Are people like Oprah Winfrey and Stevie Wonder wrong for visiting Africa? What about the small number of Jamaicans that have settled in Ethiopia? What's your take on that? And lastly my parents'/our neighbour in Africa who is an African American (who comes and goes)? Is he totally crazy for coming? What do you want to be called? And I'm asking you because others might have difficulty in not mixing politics and hidden agendas in this question.

that which they have experienced and felt, without fanfair or pride in any way - just as a matter of the ordinary "this is how life is" they are ridiculed and verbally beaten?

For me, the presence of God in my life just "is". I do not doubt that He's there, around me and in me. It's part of my life, part of my being, part of what I breathe. It's the most natural feeling to me. Others find similar experiences with their own beliefs. I find it interesting then, when explaining my experiences to others (after being asked of coure) that people find it necessary to express their thoughts, or even have a need, to go out of their way to thumbs down or riducule truthful statements.

I was reading time magazine (sep 10,2007 issue) and it stated that america is the most heavily armed country in the world. Not militarily speaking but in regards to civilians. The number given was 90 firearms for every 100 citizens. The next closest was india with 4 per 100. My question is this, do you think that it is good or bad? Should we as a country reduce the amount of firearms or just go for at least one for everybody? This is kind of political but if you could ignore that aspect and let me know why you think we have so many guns that would be better. Thank you for your time.

Why deny that you are God?

After all, it make sense.

God has to create the universe, because God is completely alone. Loneliness has driven God insane, so God imagined to be mortal and fancied some strange world right out from a divine mind.

God is in pain, so the world created is full of suffering. But God already can't stand it's own pain, so God shuts everything out by pretending to be mortal.

How can you really know the world around you is real if you're doing your best -not- to know?

So you go about a mortal life, all scared of your own end, because if you die, the universe ceases to be. But you don't want that... you don't want to die; you just don't want to be alone.

You'll never admit you're God, you don't even want to know you are!

But you can't deny it forever, can you, Oh Creator?

As we know, back in the Roman days the only people who were "crusified" were the theifs, crooks, murderers and people who broke the law... now regardless of what 'breaking the law' meant to the Romans at that time, and trying to understand the true meaning of the word "GOD", why would God choose to 'die' on a cross (or in other words, be crusified) in the same way thieves and murderers were killed???

Suppose you're on a plane and there's 2 empty seats left and 2 passengers walking down the jetway. One empty seat is next to yours. Both are large men, one is a big fat man about 350lbs, and the other is a big muscular professional athlete, about the same dimensions as the fat guy, but all muscle. Which one would you prefer sat next to you?

Would you be ok if the guy was taking up too much room but was in shape, versus the fat guy? Does your opinion differ if you're a guy versus a girl?

How do you know heaven don't exist?

Maybe dead people can't tell you because they are not allowed to come back to this life after death.

There could be dead people right now celebrating with God, and you are here on Earth wasting time.

I think that heaven exist until someone prove to me otherwise. That means I should leave this world right now, and go up there.

You may be surprised what may happen to you after you die. Because as of right now you absolutely don't know what happens to you after you die.
