they cant do anything fun without fear of "sin"
ive even seen some who say you cant even watch horror movies because the movies are "evil"
and why do many of them say anything the least bit enjoyable is satans work?
if what they say is true, then god is pretty boring

hey! we are not boring!
we just follow what we believe, which is different for everyone.
if we're boring, then so are muslims! and we are not boring.

and i do lots of fun stuff. it depends though, generally we can do what we want as long as we dont break the law :) but depends on maturity.
like a 20 year old christian could watch a horror movie cause he/she would understand and know that its not real or wateva

What’s really boring is living in a selfish world, being surrounded by selfish people. So I’ve been to plenty of frat parties and sorority parties, was always a part of the most popular groupies, dated basically all the guys I wanted to date and had enough money to say that I don’t lack. But when I was alone in my thoughts, the emptiness in my heart was really no joke. The constant seeking for risk, danger and “excitement” was really a cry to escape the boredom and emptiness amid people who only looked after number one. It’s really tiring to play games – playing games with the world, with people, and especially with God. Having all the material stuff and meeting attractive people is fun – but only for a moment. Relationships break because their true colors come out – selfishness, fear, all kinds of hang-ups, etc, etc. But now that I’m a Christian, the difference of the quality of life is literally like hell and heaven. Meeting God does that to you. I could only tell you what you’re missing if you want to know, but will you believe it? Most sincerely, if there is one thing I regret in life, it’s the fact that I had rejected God in the past and lived all those years without Him.

You're crazy. There is an infinite number of fun things you can do as a Christian.

I could just as easily ask you, why are atheists so boring? They think that only sinful things are fun. For example, they can't have fun unless they are committing adultery or fornication, or watching horrible things on an electronic screen, or listening to profanity-laced music.

There is so much more to life than the few things that Christians choose to refrain from doing.

You are obviously not hanging out with the right christians!

If fun for you is sex, drugs, satanic references and such then christians would appear to be pretty boring. I am a devout Catholic and have been told I am the life of the party and have tons of friends. Among my friends there are christian and non-christian, every race, friends of different sexual orientations and more. A true christian never judges anyone...only God can judge. That may be part of the problem you are facing, you are around judgmental people who really are not christian if they are judging anything you are doing or what anyone else does.

I may not agree with someones view and I will openly tell them my opinion but I choose to live life as Jesus and keep company with everyone. Through Jesus' love and compassion He gained followers...not through judgment. Jesus had no problem telling you what was right and wrong but He also allowed people to walk away from Him if they did not agree.

Humans don't like when someone does not like or love them. They feel they need to dislike that person back. But our God is truly loving because He allows His people to choose to love Him or not. I could not imagine my daughter not loving me... it would tear me apart.

But of course I'm Catholic... we're allowed to drink and gamble so I may not understand another Christians stance.

God bless!
~Nina

Hello, I wanted to make a comet.......I think that narrow minded people are boring!!! Narrow minded people are unable to have faith to dream and hope for a better life (in Heaven) for something more than this world of war...illness....and the immoral life styles it has to offer. But an open minded person full of hope and faith can enjoy life and all the good and right and fun things it has to offer...this beautiful world that was created for us to exist in and yes ENJOY !!!! Christians can enjoy the sacred vows of a happy marriage and avoid the chance of sexually transmitted diseases. Christians can enjoy the blessings from the Lord.....yes God hears our prayers and knows what we need and then blesses us...daily! Christians can enjoy loving homes free of drug and alcohol abuse...and full of building up of the children and all their accomplishments!!! Christians can enjoy this beautiful earth from the tropical keys and blue water to the grand canyon and know that there is a God who does love them and gave his only son for the Christians life in return . Christians can enjoy the charmed life of one of Gods children...and someday go home to live with our Heavenly father. Those who do not believe or have faith in Gods word will bow...in the end we all will bow and be judged...those who do not believe will fall on their knees and bow ...but it will be too late................!!!!!!!! The Christian life is about more than this closed minded view of "not having fun and not watching horror movies" I'm only sorry that this wonder full life can not be enjoyed or shared with those who share this view...but one day we will all be on the same page...we just wont be going to Heaven together!

A man drives into a gas station and the attendant was asked, "Hey, what kind of town is this? The people seem nice, and the town seems to be great!" The attendant said, "Well, what kind of town do you live in now?" "Oh", said the tourist, "the people are so friendly where I live and the town is terrific!" "Wellll", said the attendant, "that's how it is here, too!"

The next tourist who came along asked the same question. "Well, what kind of town do you live in now?" asked the attendant again.
"Well, the people are rude, and the town is nasty and I hate it!" "Wellll, it's just like that here, too" said the attendant.

What we consider fun is boring only to you. I enjoy my life very much. I enjoy being with my family, I enjoy cook-outs I enjoy rides in the country. I enjoy church, I enjoy Christian music. I don't want to watch Satanic movies. I have a rather large library of Christian movies as well as family type movie.

Brainwashing my friend. When you slow the brain response down any type of brain thoughts can form. It makes it easier to lead people astray.
