I'm not disappointed in god.
I'm disappointed in people who can't look at the facts and come to the conclusion that God doesn't exist.
I think you're confusing atheist with anti-theist, admittedly many of the former are the latter.
Maybe one day you'll understand that you could think God was a great concept and really want someone up in the sky looking after them but knowing it wasnt true. Atheists understand that what you want the universe to be like aint necessarily so.

I used to believe that there were no actual atheist in the world. I wrote articles and spoke about how atheist were just people who were mad at god. I encouraged my friends and others to try to figure out why atheists were so angry with god.
When I left Christianity for agnosticism I held to the belief that atheist arent real. Then I realized that no matter how hard I tried to believe in god it just wasnt happening. Logically it makes sense that a god is necessary, but for me it stops at logic. I cant bring myself to believe any of it-its utter rubbish as far as Im concerned. It has nothing to do with being angry or disappointed with god-I just dont believe there is a god to be angry or disappointed in.
I know where youre coming from; Im sorry to tell you this, but youre wrong.

I would like to recommend that you not assume all atheists are "disapointed" with god. If we were disappointed with god then that would mean we believe he exists, right? I can tell you from my experience that I don't believe in god because I have never felt any "faith" and I've never seen anything that made me think there was a god. I also find it impossible to believe that if there is a god that he would allow terrible things to happen to people like rape, genocide, murder, etc. I don't buy that whole "god has a plan" line. Why would god's plan be for a child to be abused and killed? For these reasons I do not believe there is a god. Not because I think "he" personally did anything to me.

If I was disappointed with God, then I wouldn't be an atheist. You have to believe in something in order to be "disappointed" with it.
I wasn't disappointed with anything. I just don't believe in the existence of magical, invisible, supernatural beings.

Not disappointed, just not convinced.
You act like Atheists are spoiled children who did not get the toy that they wanted for Christmas. We simply did NOT get the indoctrination that you Christians got as children. We were brought up to think for ourselves and we reached our own conclusions.
We do not believe your God exists. Plain and simple. No "disappointment", no "denial".

I can't be disappointed by something or someone that I don't believe exists, can I? That's like asking "What made you disappointed in the Easter Bunny?"

I have NEVER been disappointed by a non-existent being. What exactly are you talking about. Apparently, you don't understand what atheists are

Nothing. He does not exist. If I had been angry with God, I would believe in him. But I can't be angry with something that is not there. I have a good life, filled with love and family. I take responsibility for the negatives in my life when they occur. There is no one governing my life, and if there was, it would certainly defeat the purpose of "free will."

That question makes no sense. The only Person or Thing that i can be disappointed with for the way my Life is, is me. It is funny how you Christians think that we ACTUALLY believe in your Fairy Tales.

I can't be disappointed in what does not exist.
There is no evidence of god or gods.
That means you are the one in denial.
