Many children in the world do not get the love and attention from their parents. Did you hug your child today or at least tell them you loved them?

If you didn't or never have, is there a reason why?
Is it because you never were yourself?

Never mind the basic necessities or the latest materials you endow your child with, or car, or parties. That is trivial and of no vaule unless accompanined by a hug and love.

HUG your child today because I guarantee they will LOOK for love in all the wrong places, and you my dear parent are the sole responsibility.

My family was always very affectionate, so I do it all the time.
I had to convince my husband that people have been known to at least hug each other from time to time. His parents never expressed their love in any way. All of our children followed my lead and my grandchildren and great grandchildren all get and give affection freely. I live alone now and I sure could use a hug right now. Maybe I'll surprise the mailman.

My son finds it annoying that I hug him too much and kiss his head and cheeks and I always tell him I love him, all the time. My son is 3 years old.

I didn't get hugged much as a kid, nor was I told that I was loved.
I however am always cuddling my kids, sharing stories, lauging, playing, and tell them I love them at least once per day but usually more.

No, but they snuggled on my lap this morning. And yes, they both got kisses and "love you's" before getting on the bus.
