Actually, it does. Judaism teaches that cruelty is to be avoided. It teaches that you must give your animals a day of rest just as you must take a day of rest for yourself. We also may not muzzle an ox in the field, so that it may eat as it works. If you eat meat, then it must be slaughtered in a prescribed fashion, so as to cause the animal as little pain as possible.

Next time you decide to complain that religion doesn't care about animals, learn before you speak; otherwise, all you do is make yourself look ignorant.

Let's see what the Bible has to say about them....

Suppose you hear in one of the towns the LORD your God is giving you that some worthless rabble among you have led their fellow citizens astray by encouraging them to worship foreign gods. In such cases, you must examine the facts carefully. If you find it is true and can prove that such a detestable act has occurred among you, you must attack that town and completely destroy all its inhabitants, as well as all the livestock. Then you must pile all the plunder in the middle of the street and burn it. Put the entire town to the torch as a burnt offering to the LORD your God. That town must remain a ruin forever; it may never be rebuilt. Keep none of the plunder that has been set apart for destruction. Then the LORD will turn from his fierce anger and be merciful to you. He will have compassion on you and make you a great nation, just as he solemnly promised your ancestors. "The LORD your God will be merciful only if you obey him and keep all the commands I am giving you today, doing what is pleasing to him." (Deuteronomy 13:13-19 NLT)

Oh dear, the livestock is also killed. Sorry dear, that's God's wish so off they go.

Little babies are the most innocent.

What ever happened to survival of the fittest? If an animal cant survive with humans, should it?

If testing products and doing medical research will save my life one day or someone I loves life then keep it up.

My religion teaches that we are given dominion over the earth and the other animals and because of that we should show respect and use our resources wisely, but that we dont have to put animals ahead of our own survival.

There was no room for New-Age Christianity 2000 years ago while living in the desert. The closest they had were the Kosher laws.

Animals don't have souls. When they die...they go nowhere.
And not all animals are innocent.
