Mine is about a 24 yr old man with Down's Syndrome. He was working at Hardee downtown and & took the city bus every day to work & back home. He was very talkative on the bus to everyone & he knew all the bus routes. He loved to ask anyone where they were going & he could tell them what bus# to take and at what streets to get off at. I was amazed at his memory! The bus driver said he had been taking the bus for 2 yrs on his own after his mother helped him when he was a teen. He was always smiling. There is one day that I'll never forget. He was working at Hardee's and he sweeped the floors, took out the garbage and stocked cups and napkins. He loved it! Well, one day I got on the bus and he was beaming. He got promoted! He was promoted to 'fry guy'. That day he was going to start making fries. And he spend the rest of the trip explaining to us all how he could make fires for us. I got fries that day.

This young man has always made me think before I start complaining.

The person says, "I'm sorry. You chose the wrong religion. But if you can guess right now which is the correct one, no harm will come to you. You have one shot."

Which religion would you guess?

Please tell what your belief or non-belief is right now, and which one you would truly guess in this hypothetical situation.

I can not find the sinners prayer anywhere in the bible. I do not put my faith in a prayer that is not my own words. If all it took was what someone else told you to say from words out of their heart, everyone would be saved. God wants to know if you will surrender your life to him. He wants you to tell Him from your heart how you feel. You have to live for God no matter what the cost. Do not be fooled Christians will suffer for the sake of Christ. I will gladly suffer for my Lord and my God. Will you! Jesus has to be you lord along with your God.

A younger monk asked an older monk "where is buddha?"

The older monk sticked out a finger, said "here", then the older monk asked him back "where is buddha?"

The younger monk sticked out one of his finger too, said "here", the older monk was furious, he cut off his finger.

Several months later, the older monk asked the younger monk again "where is buddah?" the younger monk wanted to stick out his finger again, but found he lost it, it was empty.

Suddenly, he was enlightened....later he became a famous master.

Question: What was he enlightened?....Does it mean Buddha is nowhere to be found, yet he's everywhere too?..everything is buddha?

From Mormon apostle Orson Pratt:

"Each God, through his wife or wives, raises up a numerous family of sons and daughters; indeed, there will be no end to the increase of his own children: for each father and mother will be in a condition to multiply forever and ever. As soon as each God has begotten many millions of male and female spirits, and his Heavenly inheritance becomes too small, to comfortably accommodate his great family, he, in connection with his sons, organizes a new world, after a similar order to the one which we now inhabit, where he sends both the male and female spirits to inhabit tabernacles of flesh and bones. Thus each God forms a world for the accommodation of his own sons and daughters who are sent forth in their times and seasons, and generations to be born into the same. The inhabitants of each world are required to reverence, adore, and worship their own personal father who dwells in the Heaven which they formerly inhabited" (The Seer, p. 37).

Now first of all, I'm not a racist, I'm half White(but consider myself White anyway) so please don't play the race card crap.

Since, Black, Latino and Asian people all have their own little community/city in America. I say it's about time that us White folks get a community of our own too, a community where White people can live together as a group and can celebrate White history and learns about all the great things that White people have done through out history. It's my dream and I'm going to make that dream a reality one day.

A community/city for White people, who here with me?

I have always felt that as soon as I look at a person, I can tell a lot about their personailty. But I'm Catholic, and I heard that it is not allowed to believe in this. Also, I went to the Sorrel-Weed House in Savannah, Georgia. Miss Sorrel committed suicide. I felt I was talking to her while I was in the house. Is this permitted by the Catholic church?

I have been helping my ex roomate out with financial loans for 5 years now. She gets into trouble where she falls behind in her bills or has no money to buy groceries for her and her son and I help out. I have extra money and I don't mind helping out but exactly when is enough enough.
She called me this afternoon crying her eyes outs about how she wrote a bounced check for her May's rent and she is going to have to go to court if she doesn't come up with the $200 fee.
I said no because I feel like she needs to grow up and be responsible for herself. She is 28 has one child and one on the way.
I know that as a Christian the Lord wants us to help those in need but is there ever a limit? Is she taking advantage of my kindness or am I obligated to continue to help her because I have been blessed with the extra money? Serious advice only please. Thanks

I've tried working hard, for a long time. It doesn't seem to pay all my bills. I'm not really the criminal type, so, I've considered a middle of the road option. Is there anyway to 'wish' my debts were paid, and have them paid, but with no real way for forensic science to prove that I actually 'did' anything? Would I be benefitting from 'ill gotten gain'?

my friend introduced me to Linkin Park way back when they first came out about five or so years ago. they are now my favourite band, because at the time they helped me express what i couldn't put into words. about a year ago, someone else told me that i need to stop listening to secular music because it's hindering me from being all i can, i suppose.

my question: does it really matter what music i listen to so long as i don't let it influence who i am if there is a negative message? i never listen to songs and go "i want to start thinking like that" unless it's stuff like Chris Tomlin or people like him. so is it really bad for me to listen to whatever music i so please? it's just a form of entertainment isn't it?

thank you, God Bless! :D

You can claim to know Jesus Christ all you want. If your name is not in the book of life believing in Him will not do you any good. You have to surrender your life to Him. Repent and turn from your ways. God can forgive any of your sins, no matter how bad you think you are.
