The person says, "I'm sorry. You chose the wrong religion. But if you can guess right now which is the correct one, no harm will come to you. You have one shot."

Which religion would you guess?

Please tell what your belief or non-belief is right now, and which one you would truly guess in this hypothetical situation.

it'd be kinda silly to guess your own, since you've just been told that was incorrect.

Well if I had picked the wrong religion and since I have studied so many religions I'd probably guess that the "right" religion (since Hinduism is the third largest religion in the world) would probably be a more obscure religion (because this person seems to already have a solution of letting you guess the right one). I'd ask if I could ask "clues" first to help me such as "what happens to me if I get the answer wrong?", "What happens if I get the answer right?" (that's important because if you do get the answer right but it is not your spiritual goal you might actually want to get the answer wrong on purpose if the wrong answer gets you to your spiritual goal), etc. Of course I'll admit at first I'd be a bit confused "wrong religion.....there is only one right religion? Mon Dieu, quoi?!"

So if choosing an "obscure" religion then I'd probably choose something like Kemeticism.

What an interesting question!

you have fake numbers. in undemanding terms a small factor of non secular human beings desire faith to tell suitable from incorrect. yet as an Atheist, your recommendations tells you the authentic suitable from incorrect. basically, considering which you're an Atheist there are not any policies on your existence different than the regulation. My ideals have no longer something to do with morally suitable and morally incorrect. in case you have been raised via undesirable mom and dad you will think of that undesirable issues are morally proper(it fairly is a generalization) because is all you have been taught, and there is not any changing that.

Based on the fact the person is telling you that you chose the "wrong religion" I would have to say that belief is Christianity.
I am a convert to Hinduism.

I was going to say Christianity but then I realized that the guy said "you picked the wrong RELIGION" and atheism isn't a religion. So that must mean Christianity is wrong too, since I was raised Christian.

Hmm, I think I'll go with Buddhism.

If I had to guess, I would probably guess Sufi Islam. It stresses pure devotion and is the the most pure outlook on the Divine (and most touching), free from personal desires, only seeking to unite oneself with the Divine.

I am Hindu.

I would guess my own beliefs which is the religion of an open mind. Most religions are much like a cult. i believe in a higher power but one God for all. I believe I have been blessed with a gift of psychic ability and I believe God gave it to me to help people. I have done so for years. I am Canadian and Canada is much more open to the realization of the paranormal and the US it seems there are alot of people afraid of this ability. I do not understand that at all.

What an interesting question! I'd probably pick Islam. I can't imagine such a scenario taking place if any other religion were true. Judaism maybe, but I doubt it. Of course I doubt it would happen under Islam either, but I think it would be more likely to happen under Islam than Judaism.

I'd ask if I could take some time to look around first, and see what kind of afterworld it is. I'd make my guess based on that.

I'm Pagan.

Atheism. God himself is obviously an atheist.

Then again, that is not a religion, and since I don't believe in an afterlife I suppose I'd be in trouble.
