Isn't that why everyone is arguing and wanting to spread his faith? I guess we all like to follow the norm, wether Atheists or Theists or whatever. If Christianity becomes the norm, Christians will be more at ease. Atheists will feel isolated. If Atheism becomes the norm, Christians will feel hurt.
It's a journey to emotional well-being. Don't you think?

I'll try to keep this brief. Quite simply do you think that religious leaders, for all monotheistic religions actually pray and usher in Judgement Day? I ask this quite simply because of all the Doomsayers in the world. A lot of the monotheistic religions have Revelations about the End of Days, and it seems to me quite a few people try to glamorize and hark on these dark times. Christianity is especially keen on playing off the Hell and Brimstone, and Doomsday charade.

Sometimes I really think there are people out there who try and speed along the process. Basically, extremists that try to herald in the End of Days just to prove that their religion was right and everyone else's was wrong. Mostly it's the monotheists that are notorious for this type of behaviour. Personally if you want to usher in the End of Days, you'd be better off just killing yourself...but anyway, what do you guys think? Religion trying to fulfill it's own prophecies at the cost of humanity?

Since Muhammad was illiterate and his revelations were recited over a period of 23 years and were not compiled until 21 years after his death (official Muslim viewpoint), or maybe 100-200 years after his death (academic viewpoint); how do we know that the Holy Qur'an bears any resemblance to what the arch-angel Gabriel told Muhammad? Surely the game of Chinese whispers teaches us that the Qur'an is unlikely to be anything more than a vague verisimilitude to the actual experiences of Muhammad, at best. At worst, it is just a later secular compilation to justify the Muslim conquests.

My friend is from Newfoundland and says that all Europeans do this...well my husband is Italian and they kiss on both cheeks not on the lips. She kisses her mom and dad on their lips and also friends who are from the same place as where she is from also kisses on the lips to greet each other male or female.By the way she is not a child she is in her mid 30's . I kiss on the cheek myself but would not think kissing my parents or greeting family friends by a big kiss on the lips ...no I don't mean a peck kiss either .Is this cultural ?

And a found out today that faith alone will not get anyone into Heaven. I have been struggling with my bad temper, judging people, and swearing. I feel the bible is a rule book, and if you fail God will throw you into hell. I am always failing. Being a christian is just too hard. Are you christians struggling with anything? I also have unforgivness in my heart towards my mother. This chrisitans thing is just too hard. Do you agree?
