Sunday was my day of rest when I lived in the Caribbean, but since I've moved to America, everything is so fast paced and there's no time for rest not even on Sunday. Both Saturday and Sunday I seem to be playing catch up on things I couldn't get to do over the week, since I work long hours everyday. Laundry, house cleaning, grocery shopping, errands, etc. I try to do it all on the weekend with no rest.

Well Sunday was instituted by example by God as a day of rest. It doesn't mean you can't have fun. It just means it's different from other days. Basically it's a day that the Lord set apart from the usual clutter and business of other days. YOu can enjoy a Sunday with family, putting God first is importatn so I mignt say going to church/fellowship and hearing some preaching and hanging out is a good start.

I hate Sunday's. (sorry God!) They make me really depressed for some reason. In my family, they are a day of rest.

Supposedly. But with 3 kids at home, it's even more tiring than weekdays when they are away at school.
