Throughout the Bible the ‘character of mankind’ is reflected. For that reason we were expelled from the ‘Garden of Eden’ because we could not qualify for cohabitation with God.

‘Death through sin’ as in Romans 5:12 is not everlasting life but separation from God owing to our sinful character. Consequently, God offered a compromise, “Believe in Jesus and in the Crucifixion and then, in spite of a malfunctioning character, it is possible to enjoy the presence of God as Holy Spirit within.

The Cross is the beacon, the guiding light or the symbol of hope that stands at the gate to the ‘City of God’… therein lays the secret!! The regeneration that follows aids us to see the world and life from a different perspective. Issues that led us to anger or frustration take on a different significance and we learn to live in peace with ourselves and with God.

Refute the Cross and Jesus and we are still at the gate to the 'Garden' where we started.

Everything feeds on everything else - large birds eat smaller birds and mice. But mice have their place, eating grain and dispersing seeds with their spoor. So every animal either is food to another larger animal or, if it eats grains and seeds, helps these to be distributed and planted elsewhere.
So what one animal has absolutely no use at all on earth, doesn't form part of this?
My own theory is that if you removed humans from the earth then it wouldn't really make much of a difference - the food chain would continue and nature would get into a balance.
Am I right? Or what one species could be removed with minimum impact on nature and the food chain?

I'm walking throughout the mall and see this handsome guy selling this special lotion. He stops me and says do u want to try this. He takes my hand and rubs the lotion on my hand. He's also giving me a shoulder massuage while this all going on. He asks me to smell my hand. I am just like o......k. I smell it. So, this guy I am holding out my hand to and he is rubbing this lotion on it and giving me this massuage. I decide to ask for his number. He's all 'what? what? no, no! Why?' he just gets reall uptight. It's like calm down. I am only asking if ur interested. He is just like totally frightened and uptight. I say 'are you sure?" He is like 'uuuhhh no thank you." What was going on with the high-strung behavior? I took the rejection comfortably and calmly. It looked like he seriously needed to be calmed down. He is the one who a couple of minutes ago was all over me. What do you all think about this HANDSOME guy might I add? I have moved on and have a new guy. just curious about this

why is it that mulatto's usually call themselves "black" instead of "mulatto"? the term "black" assumes that the individual is *only* black, the same way as the term "white" would assume that the individual is *only* white. the term "mulatto" doesn't leave out the 2 parts. or is "mulatto" politically incorrect, even though its more accurate?

Can preachers preach against sin when they are sinning?
(No-one is perfect or can be, all sin is wrong, unintentional or not)

Can lawmakers condemn people to die for crimes when they are criminals? (May not have killed someone, or physically cheated, but cheated mentally by lusting and lying with other women in their hearts etc)

Can parents punish kids for doing wrong? (Parents are imperfect, and sent imperfect examples. Why punish the kid if the parents are still doing wrong)

Where is justice? Who can judge another? (Judge not lest ye be judged)

Why are people quick to say he or she deserves to die for this crime (when they have commited as bad or worse)

Think, if you believe the bible, the woman that Jesus protected from accusers (Is any without sin? Preacher, lawmaker, parent? Let them cast the first stone)

No-one casted a stone.

HELPPPPPP!!!!

Why have justice if there is no justice? Why have laws if we can't obey? Why demand perfection if we always fall short.

WE R DOOMED

How has all the terrorist talk on News TV & sites effected you?

If an Iraqi moved into your neighborhood what would you do?

1* Would you immediately call a Christian friend or other to pray about it? [Some people have told me they would go to their priest or pastor.]
2* Would you immediately be afraid of him and call a friend or someone to tell them that he moved into your neighborhood?
3* Would you keep a watch on he and his home? [You wouldn't believe HOW MANY people told me they would actually put surveylance on someone from Iraq in their neighborhood]
4* Would you be leary and not talk to or approach him?
5* Would you simply treat him and think of him as simply your neighbor? EVEN Invite him to a neighborhood bar-b-que you were hosting, treating him like you do anyone else in your neighborhood? [This is what I WOULD DO]

Allah is an Arabic word and can be heard in hundreds of Christian Churches around the Arabic world every sunday.
The English languages has hundreds of words ffrom other languages yet when an Arabic word is written or spoken of its roundly condemned. Why are you so frightened of a language which is very close lingusitically to that spoken by Jesus?
He didn't speak English, Latin or Greek as he was a poor carpenter and Aramaic was his language.

Religious wars have been going on even today and this is the biggest cause of terrorism. Why can't youth of the world denounce their religion and promote humanism as the universal religion. This may solve the many problems faced by the world.

Just thought this would make a neat question:

Are you Equally Yolked = With your spouse? With your friends? With your family?

What do you believe it means to be equally yoked?

Can you say your marriage, familial and other relationships line up with the Word of God, and what it says about "being unequally yoked with unbelievers"?

If you say you are Equally Yoked with your mate, family & friends, can you please explain why you believe so?
