In this Kali Yuga, when men are weak and short-lived, when we live in destitute circumstances and are led by the morally corrupt, how can a person fulfill their Vedic duty? Fortunately, salvation is not so hard. In the beloved Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna, the ultimate incarnation of Godhead, offers himself to us - not with sacrifice, but with sheer love to lift us above our mortal coil and unto the waiting arms of the transcendent. Your liberation, your salvation is dependent upon you simply accepting this truth and turning to him with all love. HARE KRISHNA!
The point of this is simple. If you encounter new information, you are required to assimilate it. How you choose to assimilate this depends upon you. Will you reject the idea or will you accept it? Many religions are fraught with either/or propositions. This isn't a unique quality among any of them.
