i do believe in the afterlife! i believe we are put here to accomplish something and if we die too young we are brought back to finish what we started! But in the next life if we were poor in the last one, we may or may not be in this one. It all depends on the circumstances and what is planned for us; what our "job" is, what we seek to do or find; who or what we are planned to help, etc.
I myself believe i have seen my mother on a few occasions and she has been gone from us now going on 11 years. I know she has come to me in dreams in the past 11 years as well. In the past 3 months she has been to visit me quite a few times and i know she has a message for me but i don't know what it is yet! I'm sure i will figure it out eventually LOL.

Why is it that people are so obbsessed with whats fair? The universe is not fair. And no gods Ive read about are even remotely fair. I dont know if there is an after life or not but I do think it is illogical conjecture. The only proof there is of an afterlife was written in various and sundry texts by various and sundry people thousands of years ago. So I dunno I am sure I will find out

Every since men were throwing virgins in volcano's to appease the gods, men have believed in after life. If people live poor maybe they should get a job, and get off welfare.

life isnt fair, so there must be an afterlife....yeah that makes no sense at all :-P
that's not called "believing" there is an afterlife; it's called "needing" there to be an afterlife.
at any rate i dont know and you dont either!
