Nobody knows why this hill was built but.... it is in the middle of an area which has a high number of circles appearing. They are difficult to see at ground level, but if you built a great big viewing platform...

I live near the hill and I must admit, during the summer, its an excellent place to sit and view the countryside.
Dont know about the croppies though... There has been too many bloody hoaxes to make any sense of it now. Even if, and Im not for or against, the is such a thing as a crop circle, the nutters and self abusers have knackered it for everyone.
Be nice to find out one day, huh?

I don't imagine that agriculture was so advanced at that time as to have massive fields of crops to have a circle in. But maybe for viewing something.

Silbury Hill was built thousands of years ago.Crop circles are the work of modern students and weirdy beardy's. You figure it out.

I sincerely hope not for the sake of their mental health! What is so wrong with everyday life that you have to come up with these ridiculous, puerile theories?
