So basically upon marrying Lady Diana and going through all that, he did not come out victorious and is having problems getting back respect from the public. But was he always this unpopular? I know he was crown Prince of Wales at the age of 19 and oddly enough when I saw pictures of him when he was like 30 and younger, he actually looked good. Grant it, not as hot as William ever looked, but he didn't look the way he looks now. LOL

My Grandma used to have a saying for everything, ie,,,,if all the food at dinner is eaten then it will be a clear day tomorrow,,,,,when it would rain but the sun was shining that meant the devil was beating his wife. My question is. what was the strangest saying your grandma, mom, aunt or whoever ever said?

Why do so many people look down on these practices? It's not like your doing anything wrong or illegal. If you had a girlfriend it would be like the same thing.

Based just on who killed more people. How can God be called anything but pure evil.

This isn't about which one is more powerful but rather a question of right and wrong and the actions that are in this bible about these characters!

There are Saved Christians who will say: "I can't wait until Church on Sunday to get filled with the Holy Spirit". Or they will say: "I remember "when" I felt the Holy Spirit". When I hear statements like this, it worries me, because it implies many Christians believe the Holy Spirit comes and goes.

My understanding of scripture, and personal experience, is that the Holy Spirit...God...always dwells within a Saved Believer and never leaves.

1 Corinthians 3:16-17, the Bible says, "Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are." Also, in 1 Corinthians 6:19, the Scripture says, "Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?" Lastly, Romans 8:9 tells us, “If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.”

What are your thoughts?

We've been arguing for years on what exactly the word "theory" means arguing about the meaning of Evolution. The Christians seem to think the word theory means an opinion or guess and use that uneducated idea to support their arguments against evolution and for their god.

The thing is, science does not define theory in the same way as for the rest of the english language.

In common usage, people often use the word theory to signify a conjecture, an opinion, or a speculation. In this usage, a theory is not necessarily based on facts; in other words, it is not required to be consistent with true descriptions of reality. True descriptions of reality are more reflectively understood as statements that would be true independently of what people think about them.

But then, what of the scientific definition of the word theory?
