Any truth that was in there has been long obscured by the lies that preachers and others slipped in.

Many of the scriptures contradict, which is why the vatican edited and changed the bible before releasing the "official" version a millenia ago.

Would God really hinge our salvation on the acceptance of a doctrine that exists in such a book. Created and maintained by a church that hides pedophiles, persecutes homosexuals, lies about condom use, and places women beneath men in relation to god?

I am going to be out of town during Christmas, so my boyfriend and his family are celebrating it tomorrow before I leave. We will be exchanging gifts tomorrow. Well, I'm super excited about giving my boyfriend his gifts (there are three), and I'm thinking about giving him one right now. He is sitting right next to me, and of course he wants one right now....so I can't really ask for his opinion. Should I give him one right now? Or make him wait till tomorrow?

God made Adam out of the dust,
But thought it best to make me first;

The fear of death doesn't trouble me;

In a perfect world, people would care and love and act on that love they feel for others. I do, and it is so hard to find people who do the same. I have high standards, I admit, but I refuse to accept the world the way it is. I think God feels the same way, so He spends his time inviting us to a relationship where we learn to be more like Him. Why is it so many people tell me to give up? How can people teach themselves to NOT care? I mean just because we ruined the perfect world God created doesn't mean we have to ACCEPT its fallen state, right? God doesn't, why should I?

With this argument about santa wearing red due to coca cola's 1930's advertising campiagn, I find it ironic since coca cola a multi-national organisation and capitalist company yet a figure head of it being decorated in red the undiniable colour that represents socialism and the complete opposite to capitalism. I say go Santa and raise a fist in the air with other brothers and sisters.

Most ppl become Christians for good reasons but they get caught up in debates and issues that has nothing to do with why they became a Christian in the first place. You cant defend a Christian lifestyle that's why they suck at it. Its not all they fault of course in fact if you strip away all the bullshit Christiany could be a peaceful fulfilling journey,but no it has more politcal BS than anything else. Christians for the most part are just simple folks they may not be the smartest or the most educated but they work hard and make a attempt to defend their beliefs which is not based on any actual facts but they whole lifestyle depends on faith not facts. The only Christians that can put up a good debate is the ones that is more "secular" than christians and christians dont even like them. I think Christians are good ppl at heart everyone just do what works for them

I see 3-5 hours of TV depending on what day it is. I spend an hour at most on the computer. I exercise for an hour. That equals 7 hours and I I come from school at 3 PM. That's 10 hours I spend on my leisure time. Man, I have to change my schedule because I barely have time to study. So what about you?
