although I believe that, in some form, there are "god"ly influences, I dont believe there is a god. but, I have a question and I'm curious to know everyones answer:

I feel like people have no real respect for me. I feel like people like me but just don;t respect me. They take advantage of the fact that I'm young looking, small, shy, have a high voice to be condescending and make fun of me. They feel like they can just make fun of me and be condescending so they can put themselves above me so they can feel bigger than something. They I feel like if it's me and another person in a room we have a nice conversation but if someone comes in they just start talking to the other person and hardly acknowledge me. I feel like if a new person comes to our school sometimes they'll go to me to talk to first but soon move on to someone else and just forget about me. I can't tell you how many times that has happened. It's wierd knowing people like you but at the same time knowing they have no respect for you.

The book claimed to be written by God Himself. It was proven to have been written 4000 years ago, and yet the book contained all kinds of scientific facts in it that no one could have possibly known back then. It contained true prophecy. It even foretold that there would be a "Yahoo Answers" one day, and it even contained your own name in it, when you were born, and facts about you that you haven't even told anyone.

But the book, claiming to be the words of God, said to slaughter all babies born with blue eyes. It said that every time someone hiccupped in public to chain them up and burn off their toenails. And other cruel things.

What would you do with this book?
Would you think it was from God?
Why or why not.

This is obviously a purely hypothetical question.

Is it all of the holidays that go on? Is it the snow (if you are lucky enough to get any, I am jealous)? Is it how for some reason, people just seem caring this time of year? I don't know what it is for me. I think (at home) the smells of baking and the whole family together. Seeing everyone out and about bundled up in the cold. I just love this time of year. It brings lots of joy.

So, back to the question, what is your favorite thing about this time of year?

I like Irish and Scottish accents best. I really don't know why, but they make me feel... like I'm somewhere else, somewhere better.

people start treating you with disrespect or they start stalking you for no reason, because they think they know you just by looking at your Avatar or your profile?
