Is it all of the holidays that go on? Is it the snow (if you are lucky enough to get any, I am jealous)? Is it how for some reason, people just seem caring this time of year? I don't know what it is for me. I think (at home) the smells of baking and the whole family together. Seeing everyone out and about bundled up in the cold. I just love this time of year. It brings lots of joy.
So, back to the question, what is your favorite thing about this time of year?

The holidays are absolutely wonderful, thanks to my grandchildren. They always keep everything light and an event to remember. Other than that, my favorite part of winter is the cool weather (not the ice tho.) The sticky, humid, hot, bug infested Southern days are almost unbearable at times, so I am really ready to turn the air conditioner off and the heater on. I love the winter months.

I am lucky enough to have snow. That is what I love the most. I love how quiet everything is when there is about 6 inches of snow on the ground. It totally absorbs all the noise and all you can hear is quiet. Plus it is just beautiful to look at. I LOVE IT!

Well, I live in Yucatán, and the best thing is that the weather changes, usually is very hot and humid, but in winter season the weather turns out to be just nice and cool. My favorite thing is that I have the chance to spend time with all my family and friends. We are usually working and running up and down, so its nice to have everybody together for Christmas.

The best things about the holidays are that they can bring people together, they can make you feel that love is forever, they make snuggling that more comfortable, and the whole deal ( all holidays) are really about love in general.

I like it when the government declares a "snow day" and I get a day off work, and usually the snow isn't bad enough that we should get a day off!

Singing silly Xmas carols w/my daughter, watching my family open up their gifts with delight, feeling closer to God than any other time of the year, and planning my New Year's resolutions...
