It doesn't matter. Someday you'll be dead, like all of us, and it won't matter then. All people end up is as a corpse. We all look the same when we are skeletons.

mate, you r who God made you. I would like to encourage you to walk as much as you can. If you strive for abs, as you say without gaining mastery over you perceived weight problem you are going to wear yourself out. Body fat is used up as a whole so you are going to work on your abs until the cows come home.
Mate just walk and walk, and walk some more. A little exercise is good for you but spiritual mastery is far more important, and having eternal benefits. you seem like a smart young person, look after your whole self.

I am in the same camp. I need to lose a few. I think it would be good to do it just for the health benefits. Most people report feeling better and having a more positive attitude from excercise and losing weight. That is good, regardless of personal aesthetics.

Man, I think you're the only person who could answer that. What makes you happy?
I mean, I think you should accept yourself, but I could imagine myself wanting to fix it too. Maybe a little of both is healthy.
I think there are some beautiful big women out there who know how to work with what they got.

You will feel better, but don't do it for others, do it for yourself!! That has always been my moto. I work my body because it helps me do what I love, play sports, and makes me feel healthier. I'm not going to do it to show off my body, if I sense people looking at me just because of that I ignore them outright.
So if you do, make sure you do it for the right reasons.

You can change your self if you want to. The Lord gave us these body's and he does want us to take care of it. None the less its about how you feel, if you like the way you are then why change.

Accept yourself. But also know that who you are now is a mere shadow of who you can be.
