I'm a Chinese student in China. I want to get a chance to be an volunteer aboard. So, i can help others and see the world. And i want to study something i can't learn well in China. But i don't know how to be such an volunteer...

Right now I'm on a comfortable medium. Ok I won't exactly call it "comfortable". I don't believe in Jesus Christ and I don't believe in Satan. Neither have any proof that they're real. Even though as of late I am leaning toward Christianity but keeping my staunch view on "it needs proof".

I am done and have been for 2 months except a couple, small things i detest the crowds on christmas eve the sales are great though and hard head that I am usually I am out there looking for a last minute bargain even if i am done shopping

and all that stuff but if a person doesn't accept religion, why enter the religion site? Last week I posted a question under two different headings just to see what happened and prove to myself the truth of my opinion. I posted the question under the Politics & Government heading, sub heading- Law & Ethics. And then I posted the very same question under the Society & Culture heading, sub heading-Religion & Spirituality. The kinder, more appropriate, more respectful, better answer, replys came from the Law & Ethics heading. It was a religious question! Most of the answers under the Religion heading came from mon-believers and atheists. Most of their answers were disrespectful, spiteful, and anti religion. The question was not written in an angry or degrading tone to anyone. Why do the anti, non religoius, visit the religoius section? Is it just to be arrogant, disrespectful, and cause ill feelimgs? It's kind of like a Republican going to a Democrat's fund raiser isn't it?

Last year my friend went to my School where 92% of the population was Black... And Me and him think there was rascism. But It was not the students we though where racist, It was the teachers and The Princapl and pretty much all of the adults.

I rarely got in trouble But he did everynow and then. And he Always got in Serious trouble even if it was Not Serious.. Like he would get suspended very easily.. and get yelled at ALOT.

But then there was this Black Kid name Shawn who ALWAYS got in trouble always cursed out teachers, and got in tons of trouble and fights with students, But all they ever do is just take him out of class and talk and when they bring him back he is smileing and laughing...so in stead of suspended him... they where really nice and its the sameway with all black kids they just talk and be nice and offer rewards if they be good.. but white people get almost automatillcly suspended ... now He left But I'm still here.. and it is getting worse

what can i do?

Ok let me state that yes I am a christian, and i am questioning the so called christians on the doctrine from Scolfield known as the Rapture. The main point of the Rapture doctrine is that the elect will be secretly taken away from this world with Jesus Christ. while the judgment of God falls upon the world. and last for a certian time, then Jesus will apear again the third time and the end will happen. Tell me why does the Bible say: Revelation 1:7
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Each branch of christianity claims it holds the only true inspired word of god in their particular version of the Bible. But there are definitely minor (to major) differences between the texts. They cannot all be simultaneously the inspired word of the same god.

at school, we are put into project groups, we need to make a realistic village. what were using as guides/examples are: "lord of the flies", "the village", & "the island".
so far, weve got:
school students were on a bus to florida & the bus broke down in southern texas, our bus driver has gone for help & weve found a desserted western city, and then we got stuck as to what else to add to it.

we need: customs, superstitions, pictures, myths, art,.
all of this we have to make up & cant already be existing.
please help.

In several pics I've taken of my 18mth. old son, he has a rainbow of colors surrounding him. The pics are different times of day and locations, so it's not the lighting. Also, in a couple with me or someone else in them, he has a glowing yellow light around his head and the other person has nothing "odd" at all. Is this a "sign" or an Aura coming from him? His birth was a true miracle and he has overcome a tremendous amount of obstacles to be here and be so "normal" now. I strongly believe he's my "gift from God" but these pics seem to have such a spirital meaning. Am I just being weird here or is there more to it? I'd like your opinions and serious ones, please.

My Business use to be Danials Quality Discounts
I had that name nearly 5 years with very little
sales.. Some People said the name made what I sell sound expensive.. so I joined Dollar Days & DollarPlus companies a & changed my biz. name to DollarDaysPlus.. Sales increased a wee bit... Now some people say they won't buy
from any one with Dollar in their business name.
One person right on Yahoo suggested me changing my Business name to avoid confusion.
Well I'm confused here. I thought $ Stores were the Rage.. the Money thing! I thought I could do like many stores in Canada does have Some Real Good stuff and some bargain stuff! I can't keep changing my business name every 5 years in attempt to please everyone? Would You if You were trying to do a business how would you handle it? ( I'm not advertising here.. I'm trying to solve a name problem!) Could U Please Everyone Somehow?
