Calling me a bigot when you don't even know me isn't going to convince me to choose your answer as the best one, just in case you're wondering.

no one likes the truth! i for one agree totally with you that homosexuality is morally wrong. but then again today's generation has no morals. hence why they get mad at you for pointing out the truth

Because your moral objections are rationally untenable. They are not based on any kind of empirical data or falsifiable logic. Rather, they are based on learned feelings of disgust and fear, and they are directed toward an entire group of people.
Despite all the scientific evidence that homosexuality is a natural, biological variation of the human sexual response, you refuse to consider any of it. Why? Because it contradicts a handful of passages from the Bible? Because you cannot accept that we are as just as good as you are?
You would much rather cling to your prejudices and insist that being gay is a choice and believe that it is somehow morally wrong for two consenting adults to love one another in a way that is different from what you know. It seems you have yet to learn that "different" does not equal "wrong," and that there are much better ways to feel good about oneself than by putting others down to maintain some illusion of superiority.
Your "moral" views are indistinct from racism, sexism, or any other form of group bias and discrimination. You are maligning those whom you do not understand; and what's worse is that you don't even make the effort to understand.
That is why you are a bigot.

YOUR religion says that homosexuality is wrong. Other religions believe that homosexuality is nothing to condemn, but that doesn't matter to a bigot. All a bigot knows is that THEIR religion condemns it, therefore they know that it MUST be morally wrong, rather than simply being something that is not permitted in a follower of their religion.

Because well it may seem morally wrong to one person but in essence morals or only an opinion. If it's only an opinion then it means that the person in question isn't being open-minded and therefore other people WILL react. To not get called names don't say something VERY controversial.

Could it be because unless you are the one involved in the sexual act, how legal adults have sex and with whom is none of your business, yet you presume to make grandiose judgments on the "morality" of others sex lives as though your opinion should hold some form of significance above that of those that are actually involved in the act? Sounds like pure bigotry to me. As far as the points go, trying to "buy" the answer you want instead of hearing the truth of the matter is contemptible. You'd make a great republican.

we don't call everyone a bigot who disagrees with us. I, personally could care less about what you think of my sexual lifestyle. I do object, however, to being insulted--and I really object when the religious right get on this site and start spouting off--from their direct line to their god..especially to the many gay young people on these sites..It's no wonder that gay teenage suicide is so high. Those people should be ashamed...maybe they should practice what they preach.

Because you are born gay and if you are born with something how could it be wrong? Animals are gay as well as humans. You can't ignore it and it won't go away. Wait and see when you get a gay child. It is Christian thinking like you that won't let gays marry as they should and people should have the freedom to love who ever they want without you having your bigoted opinion.

It's all a question of that word KNOW.
When you KNOW something, then you tend to stray over into bigotry.
I don't KNOW that heterosexuality is morally wrong. I THINK it is, but I am well aware that there are people in the world who think differently.
Just please don't speak in absolutes - because that is what makes people think someone is a bigot.
