Think of what you would need to survive. Carpenters to repair the buildings, hunters and gardeners for food, someone to cook, sew new clothing and repair clothing. You'll need to make tools out of sharpened rocks and wood.

What holidays would you celebrate and how would you choose to celebrate them?
Would you all want to eat your meals together or separate? How about sleeping? in the same room or separate rooms or houses? Would you create 'families' or be loners?

there better be a creek or stream nearby for fresh water.

what items would you have with you that would be useful? would someone have a lighter to light a fire with or would you have to rub sticks together or use a piece of glass and the sun?

I would think the myths and customs would develop as time went on and things happened to your group. And superstitions would probably already be present individually and be brought out as each one faces something they are superstitious about and it gets brought out.

If you have ever done primitive camping in a tent with only a campfire to cook on, then you know that a lot of time is spent gathering wood to cook over and to keep warm by, to heat water to wash dishes and to wash clothes. Just doing the normal day to day chores in order to survive takes up most of the day.

So, there won't be a lot of time, except after dark to devote to pursuits like music or art or entertainment. The first, most basic form of entertainment that most cultures had was music and singing. Maybe someone in your group brought a harmonica.

I suggest you check around the internet for sites that tell you how primitive cultures first began and get some ideas from them, and keep in mind the three basic needs for survival. Food, Clothing and Shelter.

Good luck with your project!
