True story!?
I was teaching a scripture class (year 6) and I asked the children to write down the answer to my question which was, If Jesus walked up to you in the street and asked if he could come home to your place for tea what would you say? Most wrote that they would invite him home but one girl wrote I would ask for ID first then if he was Jesus I would invite him home!


what would you do if Jesus asked that question to you?

That's six thousand six hundred and seventy one million total world population (approx) and only one hundred and forty-four thousand are going to heaven The odds of getting into heaven are way against most of us from the start aren't they?

I think we'll have to take heaven by force - this should be easy as we'll way outnumber them.

My office is having a secret santa thing at the office party at the end of next week. I don't know who I'll end up with just yet (I think we're drawing on Monday), but was hoping to get some suggestions. It's a fairly small office, with about 13 ladies and 24 guys (the majority are in their 30's, and the youngest person in the office is mid-20's, while the oldest is 50-something). I've only been there for a couple months, and don't know anyone too terribly well just yet. Our budget is $15. Thanks in advance for any helpful hints!

I have never had a live tree b4 this yr. We put it up the Friday after Thanksgiving, got it at Lowes, They wre selling loads of them so we thought it must be a good time to get one.
Well it WAS gorgeous, an 8' fir... but now its dry n crunchy, and where there were ornaments the tree has shrunk up and I had already had to re-do this tree like 3 times, and I am about ready to throw it out the door. We had them drill a hole in bottom like the others were doing, and we have kept it watered, what did we do wrong? Where did we go wrong? I am heartbroke that our beautiful green tree has turned mostly brown and crunchy and no longer has the wonderful tree aroma. Do we need to get another one and start over?
HELP !

-Neighbor has kids that spit their gum in my drive way, leave their bikes out in the road, and continuously ride out behide my car while parents watch.
-I have confronted them about above.
-I am a wussy about this situation.

As I travel much, I am constantly submerged in many cultures and socities -many more so witnessed here in America. I have found that in the majority of the states, when people speak to each other (especially moreso in groups) they tend to use much profanity in their speech. Some I have even observed that they tend to use the same profane words repeateably from sentence to sentence.
Typically, a word by itself (without true context) should have no ill attention, however - I notice that many people use the profanity against each other with un-interrupted consistancy.

Why do they do this?

(I am asking this question with the intention that I ask with all my questions. Not to judge, but to understand. I plead that no-one who may answer this should take offense)

I'm running through lines of uncertainy with my child in arms, both the sun n the moon are above- just moments before they touch (elclipse), a veil of nite entraps me while glimpse of time (things that have happen) race's past like waves of thunder, accompamied with events unknown. As I fled, the unknown changes me! My clothes began to fade and lose's it's shape, then I heard a voice of mine call to me '' momma momma''; kissing me continuously yet some are disregarded. I'm battleing untamed emotions a smile, a cry in distress, an lonely discomfort. Instantly shadows appear, with familiar faces yet there is distrust amongst them- a face that changes within a breaths time. Then I awaken(still dreaming) isolated in a knew line, I raise to my Rabbi, lakes, sun sets, and child's play. A character has closed; (InshaAllah) I smile because we're free, wounded-knowing so much was losted, an a small sense of loneyness lengers holding one Love in my arms.
