is it not amazing how many people actually believed that a work of fiction was in fact true.
it just goes to show, how gullible some people can be.

I do!
I took the study of Religion as a minor back in the 70s, and if anyone understood the Jewish law; all rabbis had be be married and of good character.
In the scriptures; Jesus was called Rabbi many times.
If people would widen their horizons and study the dead sea scrolls, and the 3rd century scriptures found at Nag Hamadi instead of only boxing themself into the approved scriptures by the Catholic church; people would see the non canonized scriptures has a LOT to offer humanity.
When the Catholic church of the Nicean council discarded more than 20 scriptures from the cannonized bible; then when the King James version was translated; they discarded 7 other scriptures.
I fail to understand why Christians can be so sure of ANYTHING when they only have 2/3rds of the scriptures that was revealed.
Do I believe the basic parts of the DaVinci code about Jesus being married, and his chief disciple Mary Magdelene was selected to carry on the teachings of Jesus instead of Peter; Yes I believe it.
Do I believe EVERYTHING in the DaVinci code? NO!

optimistic and no. there is help interior the Gnostic Gospels for most of the assertions made via using the Divinci Code. those of course are certainly not referred to as actuality via using mainstream Christianity. The e book of Mary has Jesus going to a mountain stable, pulling a woman out of his factor, having intercourse with the female, pulling out till now consummation, and then ingesting his own seamen. Is it actually? good it grew to grow to be as straight away as a Christian theory with a definite team of Christians. most of the Divinci code has been strung which include information, actually archives from the bible and diverse components. the challenge comes with the interpretation of the archives. the interpretation of the archives isn't referred to as valid via using each physique that i understand of. this is a good tale even with the undeniable actuality that it is almost as actually because of actuality the bible itself. that's to declare, not very. this is a artwork of fiction and it quite will advance some interesting questions. in case you have a actually interest you will locate extremely some interesting stuff suitable to the existence of Jesus interior the Gnostic Gospels. stable success

I am sure that there are people out there looking for the Holy Grail and Mary Magdaline's resting place to this day! People still believe in Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny. Some people believe that you can't get pregnant the first time you have sex! Make up a story and there are bound to be people who believe it. I was one of those people who instead of finding out, I just believed what Iwas told.
People, find out for yourself the truth about anything and everything that you decide to believe.

Just like everything else, yes, there are those people who believe the Davinci Code. People believe anything. Look at those who follow the sci fi writer L. Ron Hubbard.

I bet the man who wrote the book that the ideas for the davinci code were taken from believes in it. So at least one person. It was pretty underhanded for the poeple who publicized the book to pretend that it was real.

Author dan brown was very skillful in taking his imformation used in the davinci code putting some fiction in it and tells everyone that it's fiction, but if you ask him he'll tell you it's more true than false.in reality it's false.his justification he'll tell you comes from the lost gospels(gospels of judas, thomas)and so-on.the bible was cannonized in 352a.d.,the aforementioned gospels along with several others were'nt included in the bible because
their authenticity could only be dated for up to only 150
years following the crucefiction of Jesus Christ.the 4 gospels in the bible can be traced back to as close as 25
years after christ's death and resurection.Known as agnostic gospels they attempt to derail the message of Jesus by portraying him as mary's husband and subsequent father of a little girl called sara.Jesus even if he wanted to be given in marriage had to follow hebrew law that did'nt allow him to pick his own wife, second, mary because of her former"promescuity"could not be picked as a suitable wife for Jesus.now you must understand Jesus Christ is the one true living son of God
and as God in human form being 100% God and 100%man did'nt come to earth to copulate with the human race.He came as the once and for all sacrifice for mans sins.To include the agnostic gospels would be tatamount to me being born in 1960 and writing books saying that
pearl harbor and the jewish killings by nazi germany as
false, saying it was all made up.the point is how can someone born in 1960 have a clue what happened in 1945 or 41?
it's not making a mountain out of a molehill, people thought that orsen wells was for real in 1938.in the final judgement Dan Brown will be held accountable for anyone rejecting Christ because of his movie.

Nothing's impossible. Besides, none of us were alive back then to actually disprove what Dan Brown says. Whether or not Jesus had a bloodline doesn't change my opinion of His greatness, though.

The book and movie are works of fiction, but masterful incorporations of history, myth and supposition.
Is it true? of course not. elements of itseem plausible, however, and I think that's why some Christians run around with their heads cut off about it.
