I have seen the question regarding tips for attending a catholic church and I have also been invited to attend a catholic church and I was hoping to get some more tips. In particular I have noticed people dabbing their forehead with water and making a cross sign before they sit. How do I do this as a non-catholic?

"Born Again" means that God has changed your heart and that you were guided by God to do his will and that you were baptisted. (Not that baptism alone is the only thing that saves. One of the thief's on the cross was saved immediately when Jesus ascended into heaven.)

If so why did you leave? Give your reasons why you left behind your Christian faith? Was it because of people, your questions weren't answered, the church you were attending as a whole, the church didn't answer your questions, you started to doubt and question things more, etc. What was your reason and if so describe that in full detail only if you were "Born Again".

Also if you did leave did you ever decide to come back and if so why did you come back? Only real honest answers please. Not ones who have said they went to church and that's all there was to it. Not looking for a answers by some who was only christian by name only or who are known by any other faith group. Only if you were truly "Born Again"

why tip a waiter or waitress..?
1.- I always thought a tip was for services rendered above and beyond that which was normally expected...
2.- Why is it my responsibility to assess the value of the restaraunts wait staff and compensate them accordingly? I thought that was managements job. ( I thought my job was simply to enjoy my food).
3.-what about tipping out of guilt??? How does this fit into my general relaxing dinner,worrying about the employees financial state of well being... (poor girl only makes 2.10 per hour).-->I hate guilt.
4.- Tipping to impress.?? or the reverse..being considered cheap by those you're dining with???
Why are people so worried about the waitress's wage. It's her job to be taking care of you... isn't it..??
5.-Has to be noted ==> Service in America SUCKS.. lets be honest.. people can't even show up to work much less perform basic duties.Expecting tips for lousy service is the standard here and the rest of the world is appalled!

Meaning scientist create and distroy. Sometimes they feel they are supior becuse they invented something like bombs, medicine chemicals, evolving genitics, and DNA. Alot of the worlds problem are created by man, such as diseases which we can thank out of control scientist for, adn there studies. Bombs. Suvs. etc. I am sure even thing like who know about. What do you think, will we as people be our own distuction.example global warming its our fault and no one elses.

Why do they have an opinion about everything and they just always quote the bible, even in topics where religion doesn´t have nothing to do? I mean, I have found many q&a´s with unfundamented religious answers.. why do they just say unappliable, unfundamented things all the time?

Muhammad never understood the Trinity (Father / Son / Holy Spirit):
Sura 116, 4:171, 5:73-75, Muhammad mistakenly thought the Christian Trinity was 3 gods: the Father, the Mother (Mary), and the Son (Jesus). This is based on Muhammad's own misunderstanding seen in Sura 5:119. Also, in the last of all Suras we read: O Jesus, Son of Mary, hast thou said unto mankind 'Take me and my mother as two Gods beside God? ' He shall say: 'Glory be unto Thee! it is not for me to say that which I know to be not the truth.' There is no way for Muslims today to escape the fact that the Koran indeed contains this major theological blunder. The Bible, shows that there is a Trinity (Matthew 28:19, 1 John 5:7).

To be more precise. Is it really something passed down or realized in ones life. Two children of different ethnic origins can be born live together and never know they are different unless someone else tells them they are. So is it in the telling or in the finding?
