To be more precise. Is it really something passed down or realized in ones life. Two children of different ethnic origins can be born live together and never know they are different unless someone else tells them they are. So is it in the telling or in the finding?

Well I think it's both. Sometimes people, especially in America, have the same beliefs that parents had generations back, when races were against each other. Blacks disliked whites because of being held back; whites disliked blacks for rebelling against their wishes. In that way, it's passed down. However, living in certain places where you feel isolated because of the color of your skin, can make you hateful towards individuals of color. For example, a white male adores all people regardless of skin color back in his hometown. He moves to a big city like Atlanta and the attitudes of individuals THERE makes him skeptical of blacks or hispanics in that area, although he still has black friends in his hometown. Does this mean he's racist? Does this mean he's lonely in a predominantly black and hispanic area? Or does this simply mean the attitude of people varies by where ever they live? I believe it's the last with a mixture of the second. All that said, there's no true answer to the question because some children are brought up with racist parents, only to find their parents to be fools later in life. Others have tolerant parents, then become racists. Then of course there are individuals who move to a place where a certain subculture defines what a black/hispanic/white person should do and how he/she should act, then that subculture destroys the reputation of all other individuals with the same skin.

Stereotyping is a way for the human brain to help understand and simplify a very complex world. Similar to when you stereotype a product which is "Made In the Japan" compared to something "Made in China". While they may be the same quality or different quality, your mind will instinctively remember previous products you've encountered that were made in both country's inferring from this data you will make the decision of which product is of the better quality. Most people, I assume, would say the "Made In The Japan" is higher quality, however, This is stereotyping. Without personally inspecting the product you can not actually know, which is higher quality. Stereotyping happans in the same way with humans, in any ways that we can quickly distinguish differences, color, gender, height, subconsciously plays a role in our mind. Therefore whether your racist depends on both your past experiences with other races or self-realization to bypass race as a stereotype. It's all in the brain, it can be taught or it can be learned.

Every living creature gets aware of differences due to the perceptions provided by the 5 senses. Racism is when those differences are seen in a negative way and used to demean and dicriminate other people. Two children of different ethnic groups do actually see that their physical features differ, but don't perceive them in a negative way unless somebody teach them to. Differences enhance our world, we just have to respect them and learn from them.

Racism is a bias, usually against, another person based on the colour of their skin. It has been passed down from generation to generation by the ignorant and will continue to be so until everyone wises up.

Racism is learned.... it is not something one just happens to feel one day...... It is learned over a period of time.....

One is not born into this world having any knowledge about what is in the world.....

But, once they start taking "steps" in this place.... one becomes more human.....

and being more human means to learn what it means to be human......

Which on basic terms means to learn what the world is about.... and racism is apart of the worldly system of things.....

Hate is a racist trademark..... and it is one of the ugliest things that one can learn......

Once one learns what this is..... it becomes a part of them..... and will be weighed with them on that day as to how they've accepted it....

It is a basic human reaction that has existed since time immemorial. But this instinct is being repressed by the politically correct brigade for their benefits. Wake up & smell the coffee that you are being slowly but surely brainwashed.

Racism is something that is taught to children. For example when my sister was younger she had a bestfriend that she would always talking about and when my parents would ask her "well what is she, black, white, mexican?" she would just say "she's just a little girl".....she had no knowledge of race.

well, both. once a difference is realized, naturally the brain wants to make sense of this. Unfortunately kids don't have a natural intuition on the specifics of temonology, there are no different races of humans.
