Absolutely. Love is such a crazy thing. Its not just the words "I LOve You' or when youre with someone for so long.
Ill tell you, if u have a connection with someone, you dont even need to see or touch or hear her .. u just feel her/him..
Love is intuition- a heart to heart expression and words are just mediums used to express that emotion. Even words cant describe its just a medium.
So, yes... love travels in many ways as long as u write with all your heart-the person readng it, will feel it...

well if you can get love in the mail you have to send it ! words of love can be sent , so the receiver of the words of love feels loved . SO i guess in a way you can send love in the mail !

Love takes time and you have to earn it and that goes for everyone in this life.
