Alright....I found out one of my friends is gay at the beginning of the year. I think I am bisexual (I havent told anyone) because Ive always found myself attracted to men, (and not in that normal adolescent way everyone talks about) but ever since I found out he was gay (through another of my close friends...she wasnt supposed to tell anyone) Ive become very attracted to him, and I think I like him. Ever since this friend found out that I knew he was gay he's been trying to become better friends with me and always tries to stand closer to me when we're anywhere together. He elso seems to like fooling around with me (I poke him, he'll throw something at me, randomly hit me, stuff like that) and he smiles/laughs whenever a look at him for a elongated time. I really wanna tell him Im bisexual/like him, do you think thats a good idea?/do you think he is flirting with me?

There was this young lady in my supermarket who I am always polite to, because she is polite to me back. Yesterday she gave me her number, it turns out that she has a crush on me. Since she is a very nice young lady I told her sorry I did not swing that way and had no intention to. What would you of done in this similar situation. If she were mean I probably would of told her off in a mean way.

Am I the only one who thinks it is a sad state of the world when people would willingly sleep on a cold sidewalk for days on end just for a $150 game which will be outdated in 2 years anyway... People are even shooting each other over this. What's the deal??

And people wonder why we can't solve any of our world's problems...

...youre wired up to the mainframe? God talks to me, I talk back....we get on pretty good for the most part cept when I'm indulgent and disappoint him. Horrible that....kinda like a hurt parent...the silent dissapointment is worse than any anger.

He says he like Van Morrison and occasioanlly winds me up by telling me random bizarre facts about historical figures that he knows I cant prove. Stuff Like thiertaste in cheese.

The point is, I never approached god as something on a pedastal...just as friend. He says he finds that quite refreshing. I am (how ludicrous!) by no mean suggesting we are generally equal - just equal as friends.

Any comments?

PS: for those that havent experienced this verbal intercourse with god, go somewhere comfy where you wont be disturbed and without an inkling of doubt or rebellion in you mind Say "God?" in your head in the manner as if you were calling a friend from another room. Welcome to the club.

I remember hearing somewhere that muhammad's philosophy on war (that is, when he was confronted by adversaries such as the Quraysh) was first to hide, then to run, and then to fight if the above two were impractical.

My husband always lets me cut my hair as long as it is longer than halfway down my back. However, my grandma is staying with us for right now and she found out I was going to get my hair trimmed just to take off the split ends. She told me if I did that I would be thrown into Gehenna. I have never heard of that before and it scared me and I started crying because I like my hair length trimmed. She has always worn her hair long but I have never heard her say this before. Is this true? I wanted to ask my husband but he is in an important meeting right now so I can't call.

Ok, I'm a Druid and answer a lot of questions in the Religion and Spirituality section. And lately I see fellow Druids and Wiccans asking questions wanting people to help them further their religion. People come in and instead of answering the question, attack them with comments like "Burn the witch" or "Burn in hell" or "You have no place here" and even "You're religion is a fake." But yet if a Christian or Catholic or Lutheran were to post a question asking for help in their own religion, people are expected to support and answer honestly and fairly. I say if you can't tolerate the fact that some people don't believe in your religion, don't answer their questions, or find a site that is specifically for your religion. This is a forum open to any and all beliefs, whether or not some people think Y! Answers should ban those that aren't Christian, Catholic, or whatever. I'm a Druid, I'm proud to be one, and I'm a part of this forum, so get used to Druids, Wiccans, and Pagans being here.
