I have a sister in law who had done christmas at her house for the last 5 years. I have young children and want to create holiday memories in our home. I hosted christmas last year, and felt like I stepped on many toes. In the end it all went well, and even though our house isn't very big, we worked very hard to make everyone comfortable and happy. So now that the holidays are coming up, I don't want to have to fight over who gets to have christmas at their house. But I am thinking about just doing our own thing, and not inviting the sister in law and her family.....I just don't want to upset anyone......BUT I don't want to fight.....what should I do?

When I say beautiful, I mean naturally beautiful. No women with plastic surgery, I mean.

I can't hardly stand to see some of them that are so realistic. It is just not pleasant to think about.

Do some people get calloused to this from seeing it so much?

I work in a cubical set up office. The woman over the wall from me has a some kind of chronic coughing problem for over 2 years. No exaggeration, it is loud boisterous couching fits of 45 seconds or more a minimum of 70 – 80 times a day. I do feel very bad for her condition but it is to a point of distracting and even aggravating anyone within 50 yards of her. She can work from home but chooses not to. Moving my desk does not solve the overall problem. Is this something I should bring to management? Is it a legitimate complaint? What can be done?

and you are putting all your trust in science, math, and physical evidence, Then are'nt you putting all you trust in the brains of other men? So whatever these mortal men tell you, that will be your belief? Knowing the conditions of the world and man's many negative qualities, is'nt it foolish to put all you trust in mortal knowledge? Is it possible that there are just other dimensions in which mortal man have not discovered yet? Is it possible that a disbeliever is a disbeliever because that is the path God has chosen for you? Please, this is not an attack on anyones beliefs, I just want answer to the questions, your honesty. Please don't ask me questions or attack me

What does it mean in the bible when it talks about that we are surrounded by "so great a cloud of witnesses"?

This can be found in Hebrews Chapter 12.

Here's a tricky one...I have always considered myself to be a straight, heterosexual female. However, I've "experimented" with girls before and it never really was that big of a deal to me- it was only kissing, messing around. I have never been in a "relationship" with another girl. However, lately I keep having these amazing dreams of random girls and the dreams get pretty erotic. I've found myself fantasizing about being with girls too- even considered the idea of a relationship with a girl (no one in particular). I don't know if this makes me bisexual- or if this is normal?? I've never had good relationships with men and I've stayed single for a long time. I've talked to some close friends about this (both male and female) and they keep asking me if I'm bi- but I don't know how to answer. Does ANYONE have any experience or has anyone felt like this before?? I'm really confused and don't know if I should attempt to pursue a relationship with a female...any advice?

God or did he actually learn to talk and walk and think like other human children? I have always wondered this. If he was born as a baby, did he have to go through all the stages that human babies go through????? Serious answers only please!

The modern patriarchal religions would have us believe the one God is male, and men recieved from God the concept of worship and religion. Many older religions recognize both a male and a female diety, in some the male diety came first and is dominant, and in others the female, and in some male and female shared equal creative prominance.

Do you think the first rudimentary rites, rituals and traditions of spirituality, religion and magic, and the first concepts of an unseen powerful creative force, or forces, were originally started by men, or by women, and why?

Because he really felt that the Apocalypse was coming in his own day. He longed for and expected a time of great peace, equality, and righteousness and he expected it very soon.
And he died cruelly, and never got to see that time.
And here we are, 2000 years later, and so many people still share his hopes for that time, and yet even now, it has not happened.

Doesn't this make you sad to think about it?

life... Anyways my next question is if this was just a symbol then why didn't Jesus say to the Jews when they questioned "how he can He give his flesh to eat" that he actually meant it as a symbol not his real flesh/body ....but instead he just pushed on the concept saying if you don't eat His Flesh and Drink His blood you will not have no eternal life a.k.a. you will have no life

51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. 52 If any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever; and the bread that I will give, is my flesh, for the life of the world. 53 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying: How can this man give us his flesh to eat? 54 Then Jesus said to them: Amen, amen I say unto you: Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, you shall not have life in you. 55 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath everlasting life: and I will raise him up in the last day.

I know it's hard to rank one humanitarian group agaisnt another, especially when motives and overall goals are similar. For those of you who are involved with, or have a good knowledge of various organizations, which ones are "the best", in considering groups that are completely non-profit, how helpful their resources are, etc.
