Having a nice dinner with family and friends and eating all the good food you can think of until your belly can't hold any more. Then, taking a nice afternoon nap and maybe watching a pro football game. Best of all, having the next day, Friday, off from Work and being able to sleep in.

Cheers!

That it recognised the birth of of new nation born out of religious zealotry that then sought the sysematic extermination of the Native American ( whom incedentitally was invited to the first thanksgiving), the destruction of its natural environment and its incesant meddling oin world affairs which has seen it have its *** kicked by every peasant army it faces.

It then fought for its independance then less than 2 generations later had more of its own inhabitants killed than the total of all its conflict put together to this date as it embarked on a civil war to free the slaves who didnt even get a vote till a hundred years later in several states.

Dont forget this nation also likes to embroil itself in wars in cannot possibly win using money that the yet unborn grand children of this nation will be paying taxes for when they are old enough.

Funnily enough it uses armies made up mainly of the grandchildren of the slaves it wouldnt allow the vote to , plus the disefranchised hispanics who believed the "huddled masses " lie.

America, you have very little to be thankful for, you pay taxes to a government that supplies your children with inferior education, no free medical system and a social security system that perpetuates crime. Meanwhile Dubya and Rumsfeld get kick backs through Dubyas Dads various tax havens that filter Bin Laden monies through investment in war machinery.

Your press is controlled, you have to have a government controlled social security number to exist, your constitution has been whittled down by the patriot act and your infrastructure is owned by big business, you are tied in to minimum wages and most have to work 2 jobs or more just to pay the rent. Crime is out of control, your murder rates are that of small wars, insurance is out of reach of most people and you cant even get decent medical treatment unless you are rich.

America you are truly free and have a lot to be thankful for

Eating as much ham and stuffing as you can handle.

Thanksgiving is all about eating so I guess that's all there is. And oh yeah, my family too. It's the greatest when we all meet at one table for dinner. There's a lot of us.
