Actually Krishna says in the Gita that" Those who worship the demi-gods only worship me but they do so in a wrong way." So one may be worshiping money as their God but it is Gods energy witch will only bring them misery if used selfishly (not in Gods services) Go to hhtp://www.stephen-knapp.com for universal truths

I plead not guilty to all of those charges of worshiping. I recognise no religious god, and I'm not after money, fame or fortune. And I have a love-hate relation with myself, so that wouldn't qualify as worship either, would it?

Yes, but it is not seen universally as a "God". It is seen as the object, and the worshiper may not think of the object as "God". Good point, though.

I agree. Perhaps it is the mind we truly worship. Aftter all, we tend to worship our concepts of what these people or things are or were. Because we created these concepts, they are like our 'children', and we choose them instead of really searching for the Truth.
