The card I'm giving with my present says "Showers of wishes for your bundle of joy! Happy Baby shower". Should I just put the parents names on the envelope? Or also the baby's name. (They know what they'll be naming him) Any ideas for what I should say in the card? I guess I'm mostly wondering if I should be addressing just the parents, or the parents and the baby.

Why Church does not pay due respect to women?

God choose Mary the virgin as mother of Jesus but Bible does not describe her position or views.

Mary Magdalene was more worried about Jesus than the so-called Desciples and Apostles...

She was present, while others were at large, when Jesus was on the Cross...

Again she was present early morning of Sunday( 3rd Day )to see Jesus! to meet Jesus!!! Why? while other believers and future Desciples still at large?

There are only two possibilities - either she was wife of Jesus or an intimate friend and believer !

What Church says (Pope Leo):She was a prostitute???
What a Good Reward she got!!!
What Jesus would think about this treatment?

that Christians happily stole pretty much all the Pagan holidays, changed their names and gave them new meanings (you have Easter, Christmas etc etc). Yet they feel that Samhain (Halloween), a time to remeber the loved ones that have passed is Satanic somehow.
Samhain is Pagan in origin, Christianity is the only religion to believe in Satan so it cannot possibly be Satanic!!!

According to LDS theology, God the Father is a resurredted, "exalted" man named Elohim, who was at one time NOT God. He was once a mortal man on another planet who, through obedience to precepts of HIS god, eventually attained godhood. The late Mormon apostle Bruce McConkie "Elohim, plural word through it is used as the exalted name-title of God the Eternal Father." ( Mormon Doctrine, 2nd ed. [Salt Lake City: Bookcraft, 1979], 224)

It would seem that the LDS god had a father god and GRANDFATHER and so on into the past forever.

BUT

Christian view God has always been God there is NOTHING greater then God

Ps 90:2 Before the mountains were born Or You gave birth to the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.
Implicit throughout Isaiah 40-48 is the supreme soverignty and utter uniqueness of Yahweh in creation, beside who there is no other god.

can you explain this puzzle

Is there a global pigmentocracy? I'm writing a paper for my diversity course and I've been looking into international racism. I'm specifically concentrating on discrimination of darker peoples by lighter peoples (even in Africa and India), which appears to be a worldwide phenomenon. I don't think there's much doubt that for all the world's diversity, the idea of beauty in whiteness permeates from Japan to Brazil. It seems to me the whole world (the majority of which) seems to prefer white to dark. Any thoughts on why, any firsthand accounts, or am I reading to much into it?

Begging News ~ A 'Real begging cast' as 10 Beggar Women undress for a force you to look at news ..

in just 2 years millions of people are starting to watch this most poor and lowest type of strategy ever done by USED-to-be human newscasters .. multi-talented indeed ..news casting , begging masters , and professional animalistic moves ..

why is it that some human tries it best to GO back to the time of adam and eve ? dont you find those girls out of business on newscasting ? what i understood as the stand their naked is that they have fully convinced me that they have NO talent on news casting aT ALL . im pretty sure they find it hard to define some place as is it a bar club / disco bar and a TV news room ..

the management of it has the most worst strategy ever . dont you think they should be better standing there for whole day naked than trying to pretend they undestand what their real job is ?

ZOO is the place for animals again be aware of it

this "holiday"? I mean it has been so diluted from its orignal pagan occultic beginnings of samhain or end of summer pagan festivals to celebrate the dead. Do you think its still occultic or even satanic in nature and therefore shouldnt be celebrated?

Actually if you hit a Wombat you wouldn't be leaving the scene, but the Wombat would shake himself & waddle off. Your car would be a write off.

Mine was at school, when I was 17, with my best friend M, and it was a total surprise because he was supposed to be straight back then. I'd been crying, and he was comforting me, and you know how sometimes you feel everything more when you're crying, you get all wobbly and emotional? Anyway, he leaned forward, and I thought he was going to kiss me and i turned my face up to his but then he pulled away, and I was so embarrassed I went bright pink, and he told me afterwards that he couldn't let me stay that upset and feeling that I'd made a mistake, so he kissed me.
First it was just his lips on mine, then he pulled back and I just whispered 'M____?' (sorry, he won't let me say his name here), and he just said 'Yes' and did it again, and then kissed my top lip, and his tongue just gently brushed along my lip and I thought I was going to melt into a puddle on the floor, it was so amazing and so unexpected, and then we started kissing properly, and I couldnt' believe it was happening.

So for Halloween, I don't really want to spend any money on a costume because that's money I need for something else (school, books, tuition), and the only thing I have in my house that's costume-related is a Hula skirt that my sister used when she did a Tahiti dance last year at school, but I was wondering, is dressing up as an Hawaiian Islander offensive to their culture? I know a lot of people do it, but is it right? I don't want to have to compromise my morals just because I don't want to go out and buy a costume, and also, I'm an Ethnic Studies major so that makes me all the more conscious....lol what do you guys think?

There has been so much in the news about children and obesity. I believe that today, children have too many "junk" foods and as a result, many are overweight.
The children on my street are mostly all overweight and I think that they all have heavy diets of pop, candies, chips, etc.
I am planning to buy some good quality apples, put them in individual clear bags with a lollipop and some stickers. In case parents are concerned about the apples, I plan to put my name, address and phone number on a card in the package so that parents will know where this treat came from. What do you think of the idea?

Every now and again some incident happens where a young person commits a terrible crime or offense and some people try to link it to their love of a particular movie, group or tv show. Immediatly this gets shouted down as nothing to do with the media's influence.

Much as I'd like to believe this I think it's a nonsense. The whole point of being a rock star, for example, is to 'be' the part and hopefully have enough young people be drawn to you that they buy your music and even emulate your style so how can these same people suddenly stand back and say it's nothing to do with them and they are just expressing their artistic opinions and nothing more when impressionable young people have read something into their 'package'. Or another example maybe being the increase in 13 year olds getting pregnant since Coronation Street broke the taboo by making it seem acceptable on prime time tv and what a relatively easy ride Sarah Platt has had since in un-reality.

What are your thoughts?
