The sites I got them off of last year have taken most of their patterns down due to copyright problems. Which is understandable... On the other hand....My daughter is wanting to carve scooby, and my son bart simpson. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

So, surely, if I was talking about a God in the middle east that was born of a virgin birth on December 25th, was visited by shepherds and magi, traveled the countryside, performed miracles including casting out devils, healing the lame and restoring sight to the blind, had a group of twelve disciples, was known as the "Light of the World," of whom it was said that if you drink of his blood you will have eternal salvation, who was persecuted, had a last supper, was killed, buried in a rock tomb, rose from the dead around the spring equinox, was worshipped by the Roman Empire and whose worship spread far around the world, whose followers worshipped on Sunday, I suspect you'd know who exactly who I was talking about. Yes, I'm talking about Mithra.

Mithra was the God of the Roman Empire for hundreds of years, and it was not until 358 CE that followers of Mithra began to be persecuted under the new state religion, Christianity.

Sounds like cannibalism would be because when I think of it I think of someone killing another person just to eat them, but what if the cannibal only ate people who died naturally just because they craved human meat?t?

I'm a very black and white person. I beleive in following the law to the "letter." If it's illegal, I DONT DO IT! I'm very serious when it comes to trust issues. My motto on trust is-"Dont tell me when I can trust you, rather, I will tell you, when "I" trust you.....if ever.
People who have to drink, and use drugs are simply dead to me, Cause I dont have time for it, and its stupid, and I get tired of hearing the pathetic exscuses people come up with for doing those things. People have laughed at "me", when I've told them, i have never been arrested, or in jail. Well, DUH? It's prabobly because, "IM" NOT STUPID. So, why have some people insinuated verbally, or by their body language, that I'm wrong?

I am a very average looking girl...nothing special but still whenever i go out, i notice people stare alot...sometimes its a plain look, alot of times smiles...but MOST women give me bad looks and alot of times, women look at me and if they see their male partner by chance looking as well, they start fighting with their men infront of me even though i dont feel the men gave me a flirty look...when i go out with friends, even they get uncomfortable as they tell me to move away because they find it weird when people notice me alot. someone last week told me that he noticed people do this alot to me and said it was coz he feels i have an invisible aura around me...i am really an average looking person but why do people of various ages, nationalities and both sexes keep looking non-stop?

Don't we tell our kids NOT to take candy from strangers only to dress them up and LET them beg for it. Does that make sense?

What was the significance of tearing one's clothes in ancient Jewish and Greek cultures, aside from extreme distress and sorrow, what did it represent? Were you exposing yourself to the grief?

I was very religous until I read the entire Bible in college, and I honestly found the stories to be childish and very unlikely to be true.
If you answer, please don't use quotes from the very book that I can't believe.

Many people believe in spirits, aliens, even the devil. Many people believe in a "Higher Power" but are not open minded concerning Christ as the second "person" in the Trinity. Have you seriously considered this?

This is not a slam to non-Christians but a serious question. Please respond kindly.

It's like they say, if you quetion yourself about something moral the first thing that come to your mind is usually right. The problem is we start rationalizing.

I think with so many factors in life you have to rationalize or weigh the options; but, you still have to go with what your spirit feels is right rather than what is convienent.
