I don't really know what you mean by slimy? I was adopted however (just recently discovered my birth Mom - another story) and was always reminded that I was "wanted" so that made me feel really good - so based on that feeling alone I guess I could say I'm successful.

Well to start off.... not many women give birth to 10-lb babies...some of us have average size ones...and adoption is great if that is how you want to become a parent..and I have never legally adopted a child...I gave birth to all of mine...but I have provided care to many more that I did not gave birth to..and not all of us are selfish and less put together as you call it...I raised one kid from the time he was 6 till he was 18 another lived with us for 6 years...and many others only stayed for shorter periods and I loved each and everyone of them....none were relatives of me or my husband...I don't think that sounds too selfish....do you? and I am not sure what you mean by "slimy' but it sounds like a pretty bad description to me.

WHAT???? As a mother, I am offended by that. I am not selfish, nor was I desperate, and what in the hell do u mean by Slimy? I don't know what prompt you to ask this stupid question, but whatever personal stuff that happened to u to make u so damn ignorant does not apply to the rest of the world. A mother is a mother regardless to how she had he child. I've worked with abused and neglected kids for years, and these adoptive and foster parents you speak of are no better than the biological parents. Some of them have contributed to the pain and suffering that these kids had to endure. So whatever crap you're on, get off of it and get a life!

You sound bitter. I'm in the medical profession, and wonder where you got the statistics on birth, vs, adoption ?? Most women love giving birth, and become great mom's, hence having more kids. It's a good thing. Take care of yourself, and figure out why you seem so unhappy.. ~~~~

I'm not sure what you mean by "slimy." Are you saying that they're mainly interested in themselves and their babies and they're always showing the babies off and talking about the babies? If so, then I would argue that's normal, not slimy.
One thing to keep in mind is that many women experience what is called post-partum depression, which is depression after childbirth. They may need extra reinforcement and medication.
Well, unless they're into scientology, in which case they only need vitamins. :)

Not true.
I have a friend with an adpoted child and a natural child.
The adopted child has been in Juvie since age 14, he steals and is violent.
The natural child is good and obient
I don't see women who want babies as being "SLIMY"
They do change.
Sometimes they become their own Parents
But slimey, only girls who DON'T WANT BABIES become slimey.
We can definately say girls might become PATRACHIAL
Their little 5 year old girl pulls her panties down and shows her vagina to the 6 year old boy next door and the girl SPANKS her to an inch of her life. Don't ask why, because that same girl will PULL her panties down and spread it wide for the NEXT GUY who is interested in her after the DIVORCE.
That's a conflict of interest
Most GUYS will spank a girl within an inch of her life for showing her vagina at age 5, yet HE LOVES looking at one himself!
He loves it when his wife gets naked and pulls it open for him, but his 5 year old girl or 13 year old teenie, knock her into tomorrow for doing that!
We are a strange culture
Our wives strip for us and put a leg up and spread it and we love it
Our daughters do that for some 14 year old and we hate it
We tell our 14 year old boys to go out and screw girls
We tell our 14 year old girls to keep their knees together
We are a strange society!
