Wow, I never thought about this before. But yes, it is a very likely possibility. I guess the only way we'll ever really know is to travel back in time, though.

answer: the only ingredient the Bible tells us with regard to the backyard of Eden’s area is present day in Genesis 2:10-14, “A river watering the backyard flowed from Eden; from there it become separated into 4 headwaters. The call of the 1st is the Pishon; it winds interior the path of the completed land of Havilah, the place there is gold…The call of the 2d river is the Gihon; it winds interior the path of the completed land of Cush. The call of the third river is the Tigris; it runs alongside the east area of Asshur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.” the excellent identities of the Pishon and Havilah rivers is unknown, however the Tigris and Euphrates rivers are properly properly-known. If the Tigris and Euphrates reported are the comparable rivers via those names on the instant, that ought to positioned the backyard of Eden someplace interior the midsection East, possibly in Iraq. It can not be mere accident that the midsection East area is the place the planet become maximum lush—the area the place the backyard of Eden become placed. If oil is, as maximum scientists have self assurance, commonly decayed vegetation and animal understand that has decomposed, then it quite is the section the place we'd assume the excellent deposits of the substance we call oil. because of fact the backyard become the epitome of perfection, it stands to reason that the decomposition of the earth’s maximum suited and plush organic and organic supplies could produce super shops of the earth’s superb oil. human beings have looked for the backyard of Eden for hundreds of years to no avail. there are a number of places that folk declare to be the unique area of the backyard of Eden, yet we can't confirm. What occurred to the backyard of Eden? The Bible would not in specific say. it quite is possibly that the backyard of Eden become thoroughly destroyed interior the Flood or that it lies decomposing into oil buried below centuries of sand deposits.

No !! The FOOL says in his heart : there is no God ... and of course does not believe in God's word which has enough proofs to believe the Garden od Eden episode as TRUTH... Look at the world today !! Tell me any document in this world that can satisfactorily with proof explain what is going on...evils and all ? The bible has the answers which were written thousands of years ago in the form of PROPHECIES .. and these are FAST fulfilling... You tell me why America is doing the fatherhood duties to the world TODAY ? The Bible has its answers in REVELATION 13...you may choose to ignore it but you cannot escape from either of the two rewards : life or death which everyone will come across...my point is that the bible/word of God never lies ... only humans like you do ... But you see, God is a loving God who is ever ready to accept you only if you choose him... it is your decision... May God bless you

If you can trace something back in nearly every peoples' history, it's usually based on facts. I believe that God really did kick a real Adam and Eve out of a real Garden of Eden.

Only if your a evolutionist trying to prove that the bible not what it claims to be. Evolution is what people lacking moral values use as their religion. To take the bible and discount its judgment on us as a race of moral degenerates is what evolutionist feel they need to do to make their "theory" more palatable to their fellow scientist ( pastuers). If you trying to make the bible fit your idea of world religion then at least prove evolution first to be more than just a Theory before you try to make your Parable..

What?!! :O It is what is. Don't try to make something out of nothing. Its a bible story. Don't try to interpret something that's already interpreted.
