So for Halloween, I was planning on being a dead rock star. However, I'm not sure who to go as. I know most of you are thinking Janis Joplin (and maybe even Nancy Spungen), but I'm looking for other ideas.

I want to get the word out to everyone how wonderful it is to do this. I have each kid put one together. If your own church doesn't do it, you can find one that does or go online.
What you do is pick an age group, pick male or female and fill the box with age appropiate things. Most important is to add things like, gloves and beanie hats, toothbrush and toothpaste, comb or brush, flashlight and batteries, small toys, candy, books, etc. You would be surprised what you can fit in a shoebox. You can also include a letter and photo of your family. It is great to have the kids do this, it helps them to remember to help others.
The dollar stores are a great place to find a whole bunch of stuff. Then you add, I think it's 5 or 7 $ for shipping.
I hope you all will participate and Honor Jesus with this act of kindness for His Birthday.

Do you have an absolute truth that will never change or an ever-changing truth that evolves over time?
If you want to state your path, that's cool....but it would be cool if you didn't and you left us guessing.

Maybe we can see past the labels for this one and see if we have some simliarities.

Why do society consider lesbian girls still normal and still be their friends, but yet totally hat gay guys, but likes gay girls. This is well known in highschool. I see these every once in a while (someone keeps putting them in the bathrooms where I work) and I must say, all the seem to do is paint Christianity in a rediculous light. My sister in law doesn't know about Jesus but is searching. She's into esp and the such. What's a good book by Max Lucado or maybe another auther to introduce to her? My husband suggested Mere Christianity by C.S Lewis but that's a deep read and not everyone could do it. Any suggestions will do.

My fiancee loves antiques. She can never seem to get honest answers from antique dealers, when either buying or selling. They either tell her something is valuable when its not (when selling something....including fake repros), or tell something is nearly worthless (when buying something from her). What gives?

Also she had one PUSH HER DOWN at a garage sale! She was looking at this item and this dealer purposely knocked her down so he could get to an item.....very mean in my book.

Im not being funny and i know not all muslims are the same but would you get on your plane if a full covered muslim was on your flight. I mean no offense what-so-ever but i am a very nervous fligher anyway, and be totaly honest if you were on the plane with you children could you honestly say you would stay on that plane?
