Then they are not true Christians. I myself have a problem with people in religion and not God. Those same kids that make fun of unpopular kids would be the same ones to make fun of Jesus if he were standing right in front of them. For some reason people think because they go to Church they are automatically saved, and some people even think they can sin all week and go to church on Sunday and all if forgiven and then walk out of church and do it all over again. How totally wrong they are. I have however meet those few people who truly have God in their hearts and you know that when they leave this earth they are going to be with Jesus.
Your friends need to grow in their faith because being nasty is not a christian trait. Yes, I myself would be pretty annoyed myself. They need to get in check and sometimes it takes a non-beliver to point that out to them.

Young people have a hard time with peer pressure. It might be that the thought of them being nice to someone who is known as a nerd at your school is too much for them because they will think the other kids will think they are the same out of association. Weird stuff. Very few young people in school actually do not care what people think of them. Very hard--support them when they do act like they should I think is the best policy--reward the right deeds and don't worry too much about the wrong ones I guess because they are kind of understandable--not right just understandable.

Good question! I think that people learn to be better about how they treat others as their relationship w/God matures. It is really easy to get swept up in the drama of school. Tell your friends to stop and think about how they are acting. If they really want to be like Jesus, they'll take you seriously.

Tell them about it,,don't sit back and do what they would and speak behind thier backs tell them thier faults, they have the right to know and if they decide to change then you have helped them, if not then, they are the ones who have to sit and tell why they have acted in the manners in which they walked...

Thats not what being a christian is all about. C.S. Lewis put it in a good way:
"If you are looking down on someone, how can you be looking up, to see God?"

I hear you. I've seen answers where they want to kill Mexicans &
approve of torture. It seems like all of them approve of
capital punishment.
Ever see some of their avatars or nicknames in the political
section? Unbelievable!

We are all tainted with sin and everything we do is tainted with sin. We are at the same time saints and sinners. Repent of your self righteousness and deal with the truth of your nature. You need Christ. I need Christ. Everyone needs Christ.

Self-righteousness and hypocracy is a sad and unfortunate byproduct of many so-called "born again" people.
