Why is it that some Muslims are willing to kill Americans to get into heaven but alot of Christians within the USA aren't willing to share their faith to a nonbeliever or talk about Christ outside of their church building?

Honestly i believe we are scared, the Christian faith has been through a lot of trouble lately and we are sheltering ourselves from the world. I do not believe this is how we should be, our religion says we should be accepting of everyone, not shunning them. It is sad what this world is becoming but soon something is going to happen, i do not know what but something is going to...and we aren't helping ourselves by seperating us from everyone else.

Good question. Some muslims kill because they are told they will get into paradise, but the truth is that they will go straight to hell. For murderers will not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
It is not our personal belief system that will save us, it is the absolute truth established by God from the foundation of the world.
These so called christians who hide out in their little churches are not really christians at all. Jesus commanded us to go OUT into the world and testify, not hide out in whitewashed fortresses. HOW CAN YOU SEEK THE LOST SHEEP, WHILE YOU'RE HOLED UP IN THE BARN?
Jesus told us in Luke ch.12 that we will either confess him or deny him. To deny is to with hold our testimony.
Lastly, those who callthemselves Baptist or Catholic, or Lutheran, etc.... are acknowledging the fact that they serve a man made religion, and not the true and living God. Mans religion is DEAD. flee from these wicked churches while you still can.

Our church is teaching us how to go out and share the Gospel with others....just because we profess Christ doesn't automatically give us the ability to know how to approach people and strike up a conversation about our beliefs. Learning how to talk about something so personal as your own belief and your reationship with God is a process....and many of us are shy or not gifted as speakers...which is why we need to practice and be open to learning....hopefully as we grow and change we will each become better at sharing our hope in Christ with those who are desiring and in need of that hope to change their lives. Thank God our approach is much different than the Muslim one...which is what sets us apart!

Christians are different from most religions they don't like to show their veiws in fear of being wrong and persecuted for their beliefs. They think their the only ones in the world that's right but that just proves how wrong they really are. I mean Mormon's want to get the word out so they have missionaries and try to point out their veiw points on everything. Christians no offense or anything but they have a lot of holes in their religion and know it and just don't like to be proven wrong.

I believe it is the haves and the have not.There is a lot of Religious people that don't have the Holy Spirit and are dead.The men and women that HAVE the Holy Spirit and are really saved you can read about them every day just like when when the church first started.Christians are
being martyred today .

I think it is because they are afraid of persecution. Your faith has to be very strong in order to attack satan or perhaps he might attack you. It is somthing some are not willing to risk. I say bring it on man!!!!!!!! Let me say here and now. I declare my faith and Love to Christ. I believe that he is the one and only way into everlasting life. It does not however make me hate anyone else for their beliefs nor to feel like i have to pressure anyone. I like talking about God and Jesus, and the gospel of them both. For the true meaning of the word gospel means good news. Therefore speaking boldy for them is spreading the good news. If someone does not want to listen I shake the dust from my feet and move on. No less and no more.

Christians are spreading the word of salvation through Jesus Christ. We are also supposed to try to live by example, so that others will see a light in us, wonder why we are different and seek out God. You know...teach by example, but not teach by example like radical Islamic Muslims. No offense to the Muslims that don't blow themselves up. Just the ones that do.

most people don't speak about religion openly, anywhere, in the USA or Canada, mainly because people recieve it as preaching, to bad really........ You must remember Muslims are raised in a religion where killing is taught as apart of thier up bringing and they truly believe that it is the road to heaven, but as in any religion there is many different beliefs, but the bottom line is we all have a GOD and one day we will all have to answer to him....God Bless
