Pumpkins can last several weeks once carved if the weather stays cold. If it get warm the pumpkin will mush eaier.
Also it depends on wether or not you have pumpkins smashing punks in your neighbourhood.

Pumpkins only have like a 4 or 5 day life span once carved. If that...And if you light a candle in it, even less.
You might think it's okay until you take his lid off, and sure enough his brains will be growing with green fuzzy stuff....
Happy Halloween ! ! ! !

If you keep the pumpkin in the refrigerator, it will last until Halloween, but if you leave it outside, then it'll last only 3-4 days.

Right after carving, rub Vaseline along all of the cut edges to keep the moisture in. When it starts to shrivel/dry up, place it in a sink or bucket of water, totally submerged, for at least an hour. Take it out and let it drain and it should have perked up a bit.

If she keeps it in a cool place and stuffs it with wet newspaper it should last a fair time. But in warm weather it will only last a few days before going mouldy
